I have been in Runescape for over three years now. I had seen Runescape grow, and together I have grew with Jagex.
So, what is this three Runescape million secrets all about?
It’s real very simple! It’s so very simple that most people today doesn’t regard them highly, that’s why they are not Runescape millionaire right now.
The secret to Runescape Millions is challenging work, and patience. Basic, is not it?
Runescape Million 1st Secret
When I had 1st become interested in acquiring a lot of funds, I learned all about cowhides.
Killing cows for their hides is real very simple and free. Most people today would say this is a noob secrets, but think about it, when you are only level three, this is the fastest and most effective method to make your 1st few thousands of gp.
Grab a sword and head to the cows by Lumbridge. Kill as several as you need for a full inventory, and bank them inside the desert.
(Its a lot less difficult in the event you have performed the Prince Ali Rescue quest and can get by means of it for free, if not I suggest walking to the Lumbridge bank, which is a little further.)
After you get a couple hundred, stand inside the desert bank and sell them. The last time I sold them it was around 150gp every, I am not sure how a lot they are now, I suggest checking the Grand Exchange.
Should you have a thousand cow hides, and sold them at 150gp every, you would get around 150,000gp. This was excellent funds, and in the event you kept it up you could get a great million out of it.
Runescape Million Second Secret
The second Runescape million secret I love is flax seeds. It’s real effortless to get and it is possible to make a lot of gold from you.
You are able to generally check out the price of flax inside the grand exchange. I would strongly encourage storing your flax if prices are low and selling only when prices are high.
At the point of this writing, grand exchange are purchasing flax seed at 73 gp. So, in the event you have picked a 1,000 pieces of it, you’ll simply get 73,000 gp.
Think about it, all you need is to pick 15,000 pieces of it, you’ll simply get one million gp in Runescape.
This is not a noob secret, this is one of the easiest and smartest method to make your 1st million in Runescape.
Obviously, to pick 15,000 pieces of it, it’ll take some time, that’s why I say for a begin, you need challenging work and patience.
Runescape Million Third Secret
My third favourite Runescape million secret would be to mine for iron ores. Once you mine for iron ores, smith them into steel bars.
Steel bars, at this point of writing, are selling at 857gp. That’s a lot of gp as compared to the 1st two secret. All you need is to mine sufficient iron ores to smith into 1,200 steel bars, you might be already a millionaire.
This is actually an effortless, very simple method to make Runescape million.
If anybody tells you this is a noob secret, I think they are the only noob who do not know about Runescape power leveling .
Let me give you one a lot more additional bonus secret.
Should you have a mining level of 85 or higher, mining Runite ore is the very best thing for you. Don’t worry about loosing that rune pickaxe inside the wilderness!
Unlike the rumors tell you, you can find quite a couple of a lot more locations that it is possible to mine it. You can find two rocks inside the Heroes Guild, one inside the Lava Maze, you can find some inside the Mines east of Jastizo, inside the cave that leads to the Light Temple, and needless to say the Wilderness.
You are able to also get them from Rock Golems in random events. Its around 12,000gp an ore if selling to a individual.
Sell 100 Runite ores, and you’ve about 1,200,000gp. Sell 1000 Runite ores… and you get something like a whopping 120,000,000! Obviously mining 1000 Runite ores would take a lengthy time, the reward is mighty.
Now that you’ve learned just a little on Runescape Millions, why not get out there and make some?
Happy Gaming!

Skill Guides
Given the popularity of our recent quest journals update, we’ve now also introduced quick levelup guides for the various skills. Clicking on a skill in your stats menu will now bring up a table of the various advancements you have available to you at each level. We hope these will give you a quick way to check what you are working towards whilst playing.
Repeatable Skills
We’ve now improved the controls for various skills in the game. Where before you may have had to tell your character to make various items one at a time, many interfaces now include right-click options that allow you to produce whole batches without wearing your fingers away.
You can then watch your character make the items, as you already do when smithing bars.
There are now “make five”, “make ten” and “make x” right-click options on the following;
Spinning wheels
Glass making
Leather crafting
Pottery wheels
Silver crafting
Fletching
Furnaces now have an option to left-click on them, which brings up an interface for you to select the quantity and type of ore you wish to smelt.
Duel Arena Scoreboard
Examining the scoreboard at the front of the duel arena now shows the results of the last 50 duels on that server.
Kalphite Queen New Attack
The Kalphite queen has added a new attack to her arsenal. This ferocious creature was only ever intended to be killable by teams of players, thus keeping the dragon chain as a very rare and valuable item, and encouraging people to work together.
However, some players were starting to find methods to take her down single handed, so the queen has evolved a new ranged attack; barbed spines, which she may launch at her victims.
Sanfew requires a rare herb for the next part of the purifying ritual. Travel back to the Troll Stronghold to find this herb that the trolls use as an ingredient for their favourite dish.
To start this quest speak to Sanfew in Taverley. You must have finished the Troll Stronghold and Druidic Ritual quests and you will need level 31 herblore.
Buy 10 opal bolts off the ge for 14 each, a cosmic rune for 75 (you will only need 1 cosmic rune for every 10 bolts enchanted) and a staff of air for 945. The higher your mage level, the better bolts you can enchant and in turn making more profit.
2***** Level 7 Buy sapphire necklaces for 1,250 coins, cosmic runes for 75 coins each, and a water staff, which costs 1,003 coins. Enchant the sapphire necklaces and sell them for 1,627 coins, pocketing the difference. This is much more effective if you start out with a bit of cash. Non-members can do the same with Sapphire amulets, making Amulets of Magic. However, this will make less profit.
5***** Level 25-58+ Teletabs can be made and sold for both magic experience and profit, provided you have access to a lectern. You can visit a friend’s lectern also. A dedicated world for house parties is currently World 31. The different teletabs you can make depends on your Magic level and the type of lectern you use. Assuming all materials are purchased (including runes and soft clay), each teletab gives the following profit: Varrock Teleport (277 coins), Lumbridge Teleport (363 coins) Falador Teleport (341 coins), Camelot Teleport which is the best way to make money with theis methode (248 coins), Ardougne Teleport (256 coins), and House Teleport (490 coins). In general, it is possible to craft about 900 teletabs per hour if a butler is helping you. 40 Construction (less if you have tea)
4***** Level 33+ The Mage Training Arena is a decent place at which to train Magic for profit. Though cost of runes to earn points may seem high, infinity robes sell for high amounts of coins, ultimately resulting in profit. The best things to buy are the infinity boots and the mage’s book. This proves to be an extremely good source of money for those who can do this minigame for a long time, averaging up to 500K per hour.
For Runescape Official News:
Someone new has moved to Pollnivneach and, by some twist of fate, they are not called Ali! This strange new neighbour is called Sumona, and she has lost something very valuable in the depths of the Pollnivneach well. Mighty rewards are on offer for anyone willing to return what she has misplaced.
Meanwhile, eery wails and vile stenches seem to be pervading the streets. This may be unlucky for the Pollnivneach tourist trade, but at least there is something in it for adventurous types. In fact, they may be turned to one’s advantage when dealing with the mixed bag of unpleasantness beneath Pollnivneach…
With potentially epic, if unspecified, Slayer rewards on offer, this is a venture best-suited to those who risk their lives for curiosity. Let’s hope that curiosity is better for them than it is for cats.
Where to start Smoking Kills:
Talk to Sumona in Pollnivneach
Requirements to complete Smoking Kills:
Level 25 Crafting
Level 35 Slayer
Level 85 Combat
The Restless Ghost
Icthlarin’s Little Helper
Access to:
Two new dungeons to explore
An expansion to the Slayer skill
A new Slayer Master and some new Slayer gear

We have introduced two new worlds for those who prefer to chat, or be chatted to, with Quick Chat. The worlds are 160 and 161. Conventional chat may not be used on these worlds - they are for Quick Chat users only.
NOTE - We would like to remind players that we have absolutely NO intention of removing free chat from the game, either now or in the future. Quick Chat is designed to be an optional alternative to normal chat.
Quick Chat users can now chat to their friends on FunOrb, and vice versa. Simply select a friend from your Friends List and then choose what you want to say from the ‘General’ and/or ‘Inter-game’ menus within Quick Chat.
We have made efforts to stop the strange ‘dancing’ effect that occurs when fighting monsters on the same square as you. You should find that, instead of moving from side to side, you find a more suitable position to attack the monster from.
Dragon square shields have been updated, thanks to observant players who noted that its two halves wouldn’t make a square!
Raising your crafting level in RuneScape is very important if you want to make a good amount of gold in the game. This is because crafting allows you to make a number of different items that can both help you advance in the game and can be sold for money to other players. There are a number of different types of crafts in the game.

Pottery
Pottery is a good craft for beginners since it’s simple and rewards you with a good amount of experience. It’s also a good skill if you enjoy cooking since you can create items to hold your ingredients. To start learning pottery, you need clay from the West Varrock mine and a jug from a general store. Fill the jug with water and mix it with the clay to make soft clay. Now go to the Barbarian Village and find a pottery wheel. Use it and the pottery oven to make items like pots, pie dishes, bowls, plant pots, and pot lids.

Leather Working
If your character uses leather armor, you can take up leather working and make your own. While it requires a bit more of an investment than pottery, leather working can earn you a nice amount of gold.
To start leatherworking, you need cow hides from the cows near Lumbridge. You’ll then need to buy some needles and thread (each will allow you to make four leather items). Then head to the tanner in Al Kharid to make leather from the hides. Once you have that, you can create gloves, boots, cowls, vambraces, chaps, and body armor. Note that some leather armor can only be made by members.
Jewelry
Making jewelry is a bit more advanced than pottery and leatherworking, but it is also much more profitable. You can create gems, rings, necklaces, bracelets, and amulets via jewelry.

To get started, you’ll need to visit the crafting shop in either Rimmington or Al Kharid to get some basic items. You’ll also need to make gold or silver bars. Once you’ve made these bars, you can melt them down and pour them into moulds to make items.
You can also purchase a chisel and cut gemstones to add to your jewelry. After you’ve created an item using the furnace, you’ll have the option to add gems. This makes the item more powerful (and valuable). Before you can add a gem to an item, you’ve got to cut it. Available gems include opals, sapphire, emeralds, and rubies.
Weaving
Weaving allows members to create different containers to carry around their produce. To create items, simply use the loom located at Sarah’s Farming Shop. You’ll need wool to make strips of cloth, jute fibers to create vegetable sacks, and willow branches to make fruit baskets.
Glassmaking
Glassmaking is a good way to increase your experience early in the game since all the ingredients are on the island. You’ll need seaweed, a bucket of sand, and a glassblowing pipe. Buy a bucket from the general store so you can collect sand. Then go to Entrana and search the shores for seaweed (or go fish in Catherby with a big net).

Once on Etrana, you’ll find your glassblowing pipe in one of the houses in the north. You can then use the stove in this house to produce soda ash from seaweed. Then use the bucket of sand at the furnace to make molten glass. Once you’ve got these two items, you can use the pipe to make different things like lamps, vials, and orbs.

In RuneScape, pure essence is a rune essence that can be mined by member players. The reason pure essence is often in demand is because it can be used to make any type of rune available, giving players a lot of flexibility when it comes to runescape crafting. However, to mine pure essence, a player has to have at least level 30 mining. While only members can mine it from the rune essence mines, it can be traded to players who only have a free account. Players will receive five mining experience points per each pure essence they mine.
Steps to Mining Pure Essence
How can you get started mining pure essence? Well, there are a few easy steps. First, as noted above, you must have a full membership to RuneScape because access to the rune essence mines is restricted to members. You also need to purchase a pickaxe so you can mine.
The first step is to get out there and mine until your character gets to at least level 30 mining. Otherwise, you won’t be able to mine pure essence.
The Runescape Mysteries Quest
Next, you need to do the Rune Mysteries quest. If you can’t teleport, this quest will take a bit of time. First, you have to go to Lumbridge Castle and get the air talisman from Duke Horacio. Take it to the Wizard’s Tower near Draynor Village and give it to Wizard Sedridor in the basement. He then gives you a research package to take to Aubury, who lives in Varrock.
Aubury will want you to take his notes back to Wizard Sedridor, so it’s back to Draynor Village. Return to the basement and hand him the notes. He will give you the air talisman again and teach you the runecrafting ability.
Return to Aubury
Now that you’ve completed the quest, you have to return to Aubury’s rune shop to start making runes. Aubury will teleport you to the icy caverns where you can mine pure essence. This is where your patience will be tested—you’ll spend a lot of time mining here, so get used to your surroundings. You’ll find the pattern goes like this:
» mine pure essences until your inventory is full
» use the portal to return to town
» dump all your pure essences into the bank
» return to the mine and get back to work!
What to Do with Pure Essences
If you do a lot of rune crafting, you’ll need many pure essences to fuel your crafting. Pure essence can create blood, cosmic, chaos, death, law, and nature runes, which standard essence cannot create.
However, if you’re looking to make some gold, pure essence goes for around 120 gold on the grand exchange. This is a great way to make some quick gold if you don’t mind investing some work.
Tips on Mining Pure Essences
» Empty as much of your inventory as possible so you can carry more.
» Purchase pouches to carry more essences.
» Level your mining to 41 and obtain a rune pick axe. This axe allows you to mine more quickly.
One of the more powerful melee weapons in the world of RuneScape is Dharok’s greataxe. It is a part of the Dharok the Wretched’s set of equipment and requires both an attack and strength of 70 to use. When equipped, the greataxe provides the fifth highest strength bonus available in the game and the second highest crush bonus. On the downside, it is a very slow weapon with a speed similar to a two handed sword. This means your opponents are going to get in several hits for each one of yours. Its incredible attach power and crushing attacks, however, make up for this.
Note that Dharok’s Greataxe cannot be made via smithing. It, like all of the Dharok’s set, can only be won from the Barrow’s mini-game.
Requirements:
Must be a member
Must have Strength of 70
Must have an Attack power of 70
Bonuses:
Strength: +105
Crush: +95
Stab: -4
Magic: -4
Ranged: -1
Speed: fairly slow
Use in Conjunction with the Full Dharok’s Set
If equipped as a part of the full Dharok set, players may hit in the high 90s, and some have reported hitting for as much as 110 damage per swing. When wielded with the rest of the set, players also gain access to a special attack. As the player’s hit points decrease, the damage caused by Dharok’s Greataxe increases. When a player is at ten percent of their max health or lower, the weapon will actually do double damage—up to 112 damage points.
Note that when doing the White Guthix Sleeps quest, a character’s abilities will be increased to 255. While this would allow for Dharok’s Greataxe to hit for over 270 damage, the player’s hit points are automatically restored to 255 whenever they get damaged. This means that the player will never get down to ten percent of health, so the greataxe will never do this huge amount of damage.
Degrading
As with all weapons, Dharok’s Greataxe will degrade over time. It will eventually drop from 100 percent to 75 with use, then degrade farther. To repair it, you must visit the Tindel Merchant located in Port Khazard or go to Bob’s Axes in Lumbridge. The price to fix the greataxe will depend on how much it degraded. To repair it from zero will cost 100,000 gold.
Uses of Dharok’s Greataxe
Many woodcutters equip the axe along with the Woodcutting skill cape to both show off their high level woodcutting skill and to look similar to the Woodcutting Tutor character. Note, however, that the greataxe can’t actually be used to cut down trees.
Dharok’s Greataxe is also a favorite weapon for use when battling the TzHaar-Ket and the TzHaar-Xil in the city of TzHaar because of its high strength bonus.
Graphic Updates to the Greataxe
When Dharok’s Greataxe was first introduced to the game, the character held it over his/her shoulder. Then this was changed to holding it with both hands. Then the greataxe was changed back to being held over the shoulder. Due to changing the graphics several times, the weapon actually glitched for a time. During this time, it was held more like the Dragon Longsword.

Today we have released the massive and extremely sinister Underground Pass quest.
For people not familiar with this quest, it is the 3rd quest in an ongoing storyline following the Plague City and Biohazard quests. Once you have completed the Biohazard quest speak to King Lathas of Ardougne to begin the adventure.
For people who have finished this quest, this update also opens up some popular combat training areas, and the ability to get and recharge the staff of Iban.
This is the final piece of content which needed to be converted from RuneScape Classic. This means that the rest of our development staff can now be assigned to writing brand new game content.
We are now able to begin working on part four of this storyline, which is amongst the many other features listed in our “Upcoming Runescape updates” which we posted on the 31st of March.
Today’s update also includes a new filter option for public-chat. By pressing the ‘public-chat’ button at the bottom left of the game client a few times, you can now choose the new ‘hide’ mode. In this new mode public-chat will appear above nearby players heads, but will not appear in the bottom message box. This is particularly useful if you find your message box is getting flooded with nearby chat, but you don’t want to block out what nearby people are saying entirely.

October is traditionally a month of scary surprises and toothache. This month will be no different when it comes to our Hallowe’en content, with a quest AND holiday event both to be available on the free servers. For scary surprises: how about entire worlds where you can PK and hunt other players to your heart’s content? That’s right, PvP worlds are coming! But first, a few words about how we’re going to update RuneScape Gold in the future.
During the last six months we’ve been reading through the forums, talking to you in-game and running polls on the sorts of updates you really want. It doesn’t take a genius to realise that it’s the bigger, chunkier updates that really get you excited, those like the God Wars Dungeon or a new skill. These are the sorts of updates we found that you wanted to play. Updates that you want to go back to time and time again.
So, starting from this month, we’re changing the way we release content. From now on you’ll see one massive “headline update” (such as a Recipe for Disaster or a Castle Wars) every month. On top of that, there will still be a secondary release, much more like the size of update you’re used to right now. We’re also still committed to making sure that no two weeks pass without something new.
Basically, from now on our releases will be like this:
* Four week months will have two updates: one big headline release and a secondary one.
* Five week months will have three updates: one big headline release and two secondary ones.
So, on to this month’s updates…
PvP Worlds
Ever found yourself wanting to say, “Look, it’s my tree. If you don’t stop chopping it…I’ll chop you!” Sounds cool, right? Yeah, but where could you do it? And when? The answers are PvP worlds and October!
From log-in, those that are interested in PvP content will be able to join in on special PvP worlds. The danger on these worlds will be very clear from the first messages you see, ensuring that players never log onto these worlds by mistake. After all, we don’t want players accidentally getting involved with PKing (player killing) if they don’t want to. Normal, non-PvP worlds will still act just as they do now, so don’t worry if bashing others isn’t really your thing.
As the increasing population of MMO gamers, many players may have suffered from helpless because of in-game crime. But in Holland, that will never bother players any more. A Dutch court has convicted two youths of theft for stealing virtual items in a computer, reporting by Radio Netherlands.
The details are as below:
Cyber goods
The public prosecutor argued, in what has become known as the ‘Runescape’ case, that virtual items used in the game should be considered as real and tangible goods as they have real, tangible value for the owner. The prosecutor noted that winning, collecting and trading Runescape Gold objects play an important role in the virtual world and can also be sold for money in the real world.
According to the public prosecutor, if these items are valuable to their owner and he has been forced to hand them over to somebody else, it should be considered theft. The lawyer representing the culprits argued that legally, the items do not exist and therefore cannot be considered to have been stolen.
Material object
The court dismissed the defence lawyer’s argument and cited an earlier ruling that electricity can be considered a material object for the purposes of criminal law and stealing electricity is theft. The court ruled that the same principle can be applied in this case and stealing virtual Runescape Gold items is theft as the owner was forced to hand over his possessions.
