Tree Gnome Village

Posted by amber

Tree Gnome Village is located between Yanille and Ardougne, to the far west of the map. It’s close by to the Fight Arena and Port Khazard (located to the east), as well as the altar to the north west and the Ogre Cities to the south. The Village can also be useful for questers, as it provides an easy teleportation to the Grand Exchange and of the many quests in the area, such as the Tower of Life and the Fight Arena quest.

Quick Links

•The Maze
•A Map of the City
•Attractions

——————————————————————————–

Getting There

Walking A way to get to the village, especially for newer members, is by walking from either Yanille or Ardougne. Castle Wars is also close by, using the Ring of Dueling, and from there you can walk north east. It’s not recommended to walk all the way from the central areas of Runescape, Varrock, Camelot, Falador etc. because they are far away.

Teleporting Teleporting to either Yanille, Castle Wars or Ardougne and walking from there is the quickest way if you wish to teleport.

Spirit Trees The common way of reaching the village is by using the Spirit Tree Teleport. To use this, you must have completed Tree Gnome Village Quest and teleport from either of the other trees around Runescape. The trees available are in the Battlefield of Khazard, Tree Gnome Stronghold (this is one-way unless The Grand Tree quest has been completed), The Grand Exchange and the Canyons east of the Poison Wastes (requires The Path of Glouphrie Quest). These will teleport you directly to the center. If you have the correct farming level, you can also plant a Spirit Tree right by the entrance and then once it has grown, travel straight there as you would any of the other trees.

Fairy Rings The closest Fairy Ring is only a short walk away from the village entrance, and uses the code: CIQ

A very easy way of reaching the village is by using the Amulet of Glory to teleport to Edgeville or teleport to Varrock, and then running to the Spirit Tree in the north east section of the Grand Exchange.

——————————————————————————–

The Maze
Unless you teleported directly into the Village using the Spirit Trees, you will first have to make your way through a simple maze to the center. However, once you have done the Tree Gnome Village Quest, there is a gnome, Elkoy, at the north west entrance who will take you there directly. There are also several Giants, Wolves, Goblins, Moss Giants, Rats, and Ogres of various levels throughout the maze, be careful around them, as they’re aggressive!

To make your way through the maze, go to either start point to the north west or south east of the maze. This map will help guide you through, take the red path from the south east, and the yellow from the north west. But remember – monsters litter the paths to the center. Once you’re at the end, you’ll have to squeeze through the fence to enter. Elkoy will only appear at the north west entrance.

Attractions
Other than talking to the local gnomes, there are three main attractions to the village, as well as some nice spots to visit.

(1) The Spirit Tree

This is the most used feature of the village. Talk to the tree and it give you options to a variety of places, dependent on which quests you have completed.

Choose the option that you’d like to go to:

You may wish to talk to the King by the Spirit Tree to start the Tree Gnome Village Quest or The Path of Glouphrie Quest, or visit his Throne Room on the second level.

(2) The Shop

There is only one shop in the village, Bolkoy’s General Store. It’s located on the second level, so to get up there you must first climb one of the ladders.

Once there, it’s much the same to any ordinary shop. The prices are as follows:

Bolkoy’s Village Shop
Picture Item Price
Pot 1gp
Bronze Pickaxe 1gp
Jug 1gp
Shears 1gp
Bucket 2gp
Tinderbox 1gp
Chisel 1gp
Hammer 1gp
Bronze Arrows 7gp
Cooked Meat 4gp

Bolkoy is also used during a clue scroll. He’ll ask you a question before giving you the next clue. He will ask how many flowers there are under his hut, the answer is 13.

(3) The Dungeon

The Dungeon is located just east of the bars you must squeeze through to get to the inner part of the maze. It’s main use is during the Waterfall Quest. To enter the dungeon, climb down the ladder.

The dungeon is not incredibly large, yet contains several Hobgoblins (level 28), Zombies (level 13) and Bats (level 6).

——————————————————————————–

People
Depending on which Quests you have completed or started, the NPCs around the Village will react differently when spoken to. They will mostly hail you as a hero once the majority of the Gnome Quests are complete.

Evil Trees

Posted by amber

On the 25th February 2009, RuneScape received another Distraction and Diversion. This time, a Leprechaun needs your help. At first, he will ask you to help a sapling grow, which he did not know would become an Evil Tree. The aim of this Distraction and Diversion is simple. Nurture the tree. Chop the tree. Burn the tree. Do so successfully and you may get rewarded.

Quick Links
•Requirements
•Getting Started
•Growing
•Cutting and Burning
•Locations
•Rewards

——————————————————————————–

Requirements
There are no requirements to participate in this Distraction and Diversion, however having high Farming, Woodcutting and Firemaking levels would be to your advantage. Here are the levels required to nurture, chop and burn each type of tree:

Level Requirements
Tree Type Farming Level to Nurture Woodcutting Level to Chop Firemaking Level to Burn
Normal 1 1 1
Oak 7 15 15
Willow 15 30 30
Maple 22 45 45
Yew 30 60 60
Magic 37 75 75
Elder* 42 85 85

Note: Elder Trees, when felled, will yield Yew, Magic, Teak or Mahogany logs.

Completion of this Tree Gnome Village Quest will make your task of finding Evil Trees much easier.

It is also recommended to have a Hatchet and Tinderbox at the ready, as well as four free inventory spaces for the rewards.

——————————————————————————–

Getting Started
To start, gather your Hatchet and Tinderbox. If you have not got any, don’t worry, a Leprechaun at the location can give you some for free.

The best way to locate an Evil Tree is to speak to a Spirit Tree (requires completion of the Tree Gnome Village Quest). If there is an Evil Tree growing in your world, the Spirit Tree will tell you one of two things:

•If it’s just a sapling, he will give you a clue to it’s location, for example, growing near Draynor he may say “Near a town of Willows”.
•If it’s fully grown, he will offer a free teleport there.
Once there, should you need any equipment, talk to the Leprechaun. He will happily supply you with either a Bronze Axe or Tinderbox.
——————————————————————————–

Growing
When you find a Sapling, you simply need to nurture it. This is incredibly simple, but will require a certain farming level, depending on the tree type. See the table above for more information.

To nurture a tree, simply click on it. You will receive Farming experience for doing so. You only need do this until it is fully grown and becomes… EVIL!

——————————————————————————–

Cutting and Burning
When a tree is fully grown, if you’re not already there, a Spirit Tree will now teleport you there. No matter how you get there, you should now be at the tree.

Cut the tree. If you don’t already have some, an axe and tinderbox can be obtained from the Leprechaun. Whilst cutting the tree, you may be thrown aside by some Evil Roots. Cut these. When the roots have been chopped down, you may receive some Kindling. Use these on the Evil Tree to light it. It is recommended you make a circle of flames all around the Evil Tree.

Now just cut away at the tree. To find out how much more is left to go, right click the tree and choose ‘Inspect’. It will tell you the type of tree and how much health it has left. On the Health screen, it may say how much of the reward you have earned. It is possible to earn 100%.

——————————————————————————–

Locations
There are 26 possible locations at which an Evil Tree can spawn. By using a clue from a Spirit Tree, you can narrow it down even more! Below is a list of all locations.

1.Draynor (near Willow trees)
2.Khazari Jungle
3.Next to the barrier to Lumbridge Swamp
4.Behind Seers’ Village bank (Near Willow trees)
5.North of Shilo Village
6.West of Falador
7.West of Oo’glog
8.North of Varrock palace, Wilderness ditch
9.Near Rift, east of Varrock
10.South of the Monastery, west of Edgeville
11.Near the Body Altar
12.West of Rellekka
13.North of Draynor Village near Draynor Manor
14.Seer’s Village by the Yew trees
15.Inside McGrubor’s wood
16.Close to the Ranging Guild
17.Duel Arena
18.North of Yanille South
19.Southwest of Gnome Stronghold
20.North of Legend’s Guild
21.South of the bank in Tree Gnome Stronghold
22.South side of Ape Atoll, near the entrance to Marim dungeon
23.Northwest of Fairy Ring BKP
24.Lletya near the magic trees
25.Mine south of Legends Guild
26.Brimhaven Dungeon

——————————————————————————–

Rewards
Of course, what would a good Distraction and Diversion be without good rewards? Well, depending on how much you contribute depends on the rewards you can receive. Obviously, the more you contribute to the tree, the significantly better your rewards can be.

To claim your reward, right click on a felled Evil Tree. You will receive a noted quantity of that specific log as well as three of the following:

•Coins
•Birds Nests
•Key Halves (Tooth and Loop)
•Clue Scroll (level 1)
•Tree Seeds
•Summoning Charms
•Other Useless Items
As well as these rewards, the Leprechaun will enhance you for a certain length of time to be able to automatically bank logs when you have a full inventory of them. It works for only Normal, Oak, Willow, Maple, Yew and Magic logs.

Easter 2009

Posted by amber

The Easter Bunny seems to have been around forever. Or has he? What makes him seem immortal? This Easter, calamity has once again befallen his factory, and he needs your help to solve the problem. As well as giving you the chance to fix some impressive machinery, and deal with some colourful (but less than helpful) characters, Splitting Heirs will also give our free players a taste of what it’s like to catch implings.

This event revisits the past, so if you’ve played previous Easter events you’ll recognise the incubator from 2008 and the Easter Bird from 2006. Find out what makes the Easter Bunny tick, and you could also earn yourself a new fun weapon. So what are you waiting for? Go seek out the Easter Bunny!

Mod Maz
RuneScape Developer
Queen of the Squirrels

Where to start Splitting Heirs:
Speak to the Easter Bunny, south of Falador.

Requirements to complete Splitting Heirs:
None.

In Other News…

The layout of the welcome screen has been changed slightly to allow us to add further information to it in the future.

Pyre logs now have a ‘Make-X’, and code for this has been significantly reworked. Also, any bonus experience gains from the All Fired Up quest rewards should now properly apply.

The April Fools’ cabbages have now been removed from the game, and seagulls have been removed from the Hunter skill.

The speed at which your prayers activate should now be back to normal, without the delay some players have been experiencing.

How I got 10 million+ gp on Runescape as a non member

Money can be a huge asset in runescape. Instead of “wasting” time killing giants to get big bones, trying to get to 43 prayer, a rich player can simply shell out around 3 mil and get the required amount of big bones in a few seconds! This was how I got my prayer level up. Now many of you think that membership or high combat levels are required to get rich, but my account is only level 56, it is a non member and yet I have 9 million gp! How did I do it? This is a question I always get in game, and here, I will share my secret to becoming a rich non member, starting from scratch.

Skills = CA$H!

Skills are the way to gaining money on runescape, not combat stats. This guide can be used by anyone from level 3 to 126. I will not explain the different ways to make money since I have never used fishing/woodcutting and therefore do not know if they are profitable. However, mining and smithing got me well on my way to the path of wealth.

Mine Till You Drop!

Firstly, mine lots of tin and copper ores until you have enough to make at least 200 bronze bars. This will not take all that long and remember to keep upgrading your pickaxes everytime you can as they will save a lot of time. Smelt all the bars at once at al kharid and then head to varrock where you should turn them into whatever you can. Sell at the grand exchange or general stores.

Continue in this trend with iron ores and eventually steel. However, in my case, I mined and smith iron until my smithing level was 46, at which point I started making steel bars. Do Not Smith Your Steel Bars Until You Have Level 48 Smithing! This is very important! Just keep banking the bars and when you finally arrive at level 48 smithing, the money will start rolling in!

THE SECRET WAY OF MY SUCCESS!

I have tried out a couple of ways to earn quick money in Runescape, and I must say I have come across some amazing ways to make a quick million!

1. Mine and sell CLAY. Yes, CLAY. It sells for 100 gp a piece in the G.E. Whats even better is, if you make it soft clay, it sells for 160-180 gp EASILY. Now once you start doing that, you could also buy normal clay, wet it, and re-sell it at a higher price! I’ve made almost 2 million in 2 hours doing this! Clay also gets mined very easily and respawns in seconds!

2. After you’ve earned about 50k, spend it all on buying iron ore and coal in a 1 to 2 ratio (once your smithing level is 30). Like if you buy a 100 iron ore, buy 200 coal. Now smelt these into steel bars, and sell them off for a good price of 625 gp (iron costs 89 gp and 2 coals cost 370 gp giving you an easy profit of almost 250 gp per bar sold). Also a quick way to smelt and store is in Al-Kharid and Falador where the furnace is very close to a bank.

3. Catch and sell LOBSTERS. I must admit that this has been one of the main sources of income for me, just head to Karamja with nothing but a lobster pot and some coins (to travel) and fill your inventory with lobsters. Take them back to Draynor village or Falador and put them in a bank. When you have about 350-400, sell them off at a price of 330 gp (approx) for a nice 100k!

4. Merchanting is also a great way to earn money. Buy low, and sell high! Buy tons of cooked lobsters (or any item with a large price range and which sells good) at its minimum price and sell it off at its maximum. People going for long battles buy loads of cooked lobsters because they heal a lot of HP.

5. Another way is to start your own business, let’s say you pay people to mine iron and coal for you, in a one to two ratio. Pay them a little lower than the max price on the G.E., preferably at market price. Buy in bulk and sell these in the G.E. at max price. I once had a guy working for me, who sold me almost 2000 iron ores at 80 gp every week! I then resold it at 95 gp for a quick resale profit of 30k!

The following are some tips to earn some easy money:

(1) Through mining

-PART 1-
Get your mining level to lv115 1st,
If your going for the easy way,
Get your mining level to 60 (mine only irons)
You’ll have about 7822 iron ores
You can sell your iron ores for 100gp each and that’ll earn you around 770k-800k

-PART 2-
If you’re going for the tougher task,
Like in part 1,get your mining to 15 but after 30 start to mine coals
From my calculation:
The iron ores between level 15-30 + coals between lv30-60 will let u make this amount : 780k to 950k (If u sell the iron ores for 100gp each and coal for 150-180gp each)

Notes: Remember to change your pickaxe whenever the requirements hits, this’ll help a lot as the speed for getting ores will be faster..
Notes: As you get to level 60 mining, you can go ahead n proceed to the mining guild to get more ores…
Notes: Smithing wont be so much of earning when it’s below 70, after 70 you can make more then 20k at once easily…

-PART 3-
You can also earn easy money through ores but u need starting money, just around 100k will do..
All u have to do is to buy coal(example) 100-120gp each from people and sell it at a higher price (example:150gp each for 1-500 coals,180gp each if u have tons of coals)

(2)Through Magic

-PART 1-
The best way for making money in magic perhaps is through runecrafting…
The higher the level of runecrafting, the more money you’ll obtain…
For starters: The Best way is to runecraft air runes…
Air altar is located outside south of the entrance to falador and a bank is near.
You can try to sell the air runes for 15-20gp each which most of the rich guy buy them at…
-PART 2 & PART 3-(Tips tat need a lot of money)
2nd way is to get a capital of at least 220k..
All u need to do is stay in the runes shop and buy runes
Buy chaos and death runes and proceed to world with a larger population to sell your runes (chaos 120-150gp each, death-260-300gp each)
REQUIREMENTS FOR PART 3: Level 55 magic level
This tip also requires money because you’ll be buying rune med for high level alchemy
Buy rune med from player 10k each and nature rune 200-300gp each
After high level alchemy you’ll obtain 11520gp,you will get 1220 or 1320gp more profit for each high level alchemy…

(3)Through woodcutting
-PART 1-
Woodcutting is perhaps the easiest money earning skills to train on.
All you need is chop till your woodcutting gets higher than 60.
Once u reach level 60-woodcutting, you’ll have like 4056 willows…sell them for 30gp each n you’ll get between 120k -122k of cash.
At level 60 woodcutting, you can start to woodcutting yews but it’ll be quite slow so u need to put in some effort to get yr woodcutting level higher for faster yew logs.
Sell your yew logs between these ranges: 300-375gp each
-PART 2-
Again, this part is about Merchanting.
All you need is money of 250k or more.
Buy yews from other players at 250gp each and sell others for more like 300-375gp each
-PART 3-
If u happens to be a member, it’ll be great for you.
You can fletch your logs to make more money.
When u can fletch yew logs, try to high level alchemy them you’ll gain quite a big amount of money rather than selling them to shops.
———————————————————————-
You can also make money by buying rune plate bodies for 60-70k and selling for 80-90k

Everyday I log onto Runescape and sit in awe of what changes they have made since I started playing again a month ago. They added the Grand Exchange, added a trading limit that is based off of being able to send 3 thousand gold within a certain amount of time depending on your quest points gained. They also have added another skill among other changes. The main skill that I will be focusing on right now is Mining. Learn how to make 1 mil gold within a week. There are a number of steps that absolutely must be completed in order to make the 1 million gold the right way. First we will go over what is absolutely needed.

1.A mining level of 52.
2..A rune pickaxe
3.Patience and determination

Now we will get to how to make the gold. The process is relatively simple to follow, but seems very complex. That is because of the amount of repetitive monotonous work that is done hour after hour.

1.Walk to the mines south of Falador where the iron is.
This is the first step and is incredibly easy. In order to get to the mines, you must first go to Falador. This large city is south of the dwarven mines and Ice Mountain. Once you are at Falador, follow the path that takes you out of the city by the south gate. When you have exited the city, follow the road until it splits going west and east. Go off the path and go southwest, finally reaching the mines.

2.Locate the iron ore and start Mining.
Locating the iron is extremely easy. In this mine, the iron ore rocks are located at the very western edge of the mining area. They have purple streaks in them. This is where the monotony comes in. You must mine a full inventory worth of iron ore with your rune pickaxe. If there are others mining there too, just ignore them for now. If they are mining on a rock that you consider yours, you have two options. Either politely ask them to share and offer to take a rock while they take one, or continue to beat them to the ore with your level 52 skill. Go to the bank in Falador once you have a full inventory of iron and deposit it. Then go back to the mines and start step two over again.

Making money in Runescape

Posted by coco

There are several ways of making money one Runescape. To you, some of these ways may be fun to you and others might not be fun. This article will show you all the ways that you can earn money so at the end; you can choose which one you prefer. Everyone has their likes so this will help you choose yours. There are two parts to this guide and the first part displays how members only can make money on Runescape and the second part displays how both members and non members can make money on Runescape. If you want to start earning Runescape money really quicker, then becoming a member is what you need to do!

Members Only
Picking Up Flax:
1. Absolutely nothing is needed to be able to pick up flax. Go over to Camelot and go down to the Flax area where there’s only flax there and start picking them up. Keep going back and forth to the bank.

(Area where you can find flax to pick up.)

2. Make sure your inventory is empty to make it quicker to get 1,000 flax. Once you have collected 1,000 flax, then go to the same bank which is nearby the flax area and sell your flax’s for 100 gold coins each. A total of 100k is earned for just picking up some flax.

Spinning Flax into Bow Strings:
You must have a crafting level of 10 in order to spin flax. If you have a crafting level of 10, then you can start off by either purchasing 1k flax from someone or by picking them up. Buying these will make you save more time and at the same time still make profits. The profits are less though. Simply once you have your flax take them to the spinning wheel and spin them. Go back and forth doing this and after a few trips, you will be completed. Sell your bow strings for 180-200 each, ending you up with 180-200k profits. If you had bought the flax, then your profit will be 80-100k for spinning them.

Woodcutting (Maples):
1. Get a woodcutting level of 45 to cut maples.
2. Go down to the Camelot which has maple trees right across from it. These trees are very close to the bank so it won’t take long to walk to the bank.
3. Cut 1,000 maple logs and sell them to other members for 80-100 each. Total will be 80k-100k for all of them!

Woodcutting (Magics):
1. To be able to start cutting magics, you will need a level of 75 which is the highest to cut any tree.
2. Take a rune axe and start cutting them. You can get bored off of cutting as it takes longer than yews to cut.
3. Cut 1,000 magic logs and sell them. Each log is worth 1k! That’s a lot of money.
4. Once completed sell them at the bank to other members and earn 1,000,000 Gold coins!

Members/Non Members
Woodcutting (Willows):
1. Get a woodcutting level of 30 to cut willows.
2. Go down to Lumbridge and cut 1,000 willow logs. The bank is right next to you so this makes it quick and easy to store them up.
3. Once you have 1,000 willow logs, then go ahead and sell them for 30 coins each and easily get 30k gold!

Woodcutting (Yews):
1. After cutting so many logs and having your woodcutting level become 60, you can now cut Yew logs!
2. Get a rune axe and find somewhere where there is a Yew tree that has a bank right next to it to make the traveling time shorter.
3. Start cutting Yew trees to get some logs. You will need to collect a about 3,500 of them.
4. Once completed, take all these logs to the bank and sell them to the other members. You can sell all these for 1,000,000 gold coins! Yea, that is a lot of zeros.

Steel Bars:
1. Steel bars are used to make things such as armour. You are going to have a minimum of a mining level of 30 to be able to mine iron ores and coal.|
2. Start out by mining 2,000 coal since this is the hardest part. Once done with this, go ahead and start cutting 1,000 iron ores.
3. Take your iron ores and coal to the furnace and smelt them into steel bars. When completed, you should have a total of 1,000 steel bars.
4. Head over to a bank in Falador and sell each steel bar for 500 coins each! You should have a total of 500k when you sell all of them.

Combat:
There are plenty of different ways to make money by combat since there are a ton of things to fight. Try fighting the monsters that drops good items and then resell these items. Also, sell when you have a lot of that items. If you are fighting wizards and you keep getting runes, then keep fighting until you have about 500-1,000 runes of each. This will not only benefit you in getting more money but also in your combat levels also.

Mining Iron Ores:
1. Locate the iron rocks in Varrock and start mining them.
2. Mine as much as 1,000 iron ores. This may take time but it’s worth it at the end.
3. When your done, take them to one of the bank in Varrock and sell them for 50 gold coins each bringing you a total of 50,000 gold once sold.

Collecting Seeds:
1. Take an axe and find willow or yew trees. You can pick others but these are more effective when looking for seeds.
2. Now keep cutting trees and you will find out that bird nests usually falls out of the trees.
3. Store all you’re logs and seeds in the bank. Once you have a lot of them, then sell them all. Seeds are worth a lot so search before you actually sell them to make full profits.
4. Not only will you make money from the seeds but also in the logs too.
(Seeds are worth around 1k-200k each.)

Making Armour:
1. Create as much bars as you can of any kind. The best possible that you can make would always be the best one to create.
2. Take them to Anvil and smith you’re bars into armour. Trying making the armours in sets so that it can be easier to sell to people.
3. The prices will vary depending on what kind of armour you make, but if you do make a lot of sets then you can end up with a good junk of money.

These are a few ways that you can make money on Runescape when you are not a member. If you are a member, then you can read part two of this article for ways to make money on a members world.

Second Article (Real Money)
You see a lot of sites selling Runescape gold on the Internet nowadays. It opens up a lot of opportunities for players too, instead of players grinding and using a lot of time making gold pieces in-game to buy the next best weapon, or armour, they could just buy gold online much quicker, much more efficient.
This also opens up opportunities to players to make some real cash too.

These sites also buy gold pieces of players, so if you find a way of making a lot of gold pieces, then you could sell them to these sites and make some profit. Merchanting is a quick and easy way of making money (check our merchanting guide), but it does require some initial investment.

Runescape gold sites normally buy gold pieces in millions, from around $2.99+ per million. This sounds like rubbish money for a million gold pieces, but it’s actually pretty easy to make a lot of gold once you reach your few hundred thousand gold pieces.

Not only to these Runescape gold sites buy gold pieces, but they also buy characters as well. If you have a character that is of a high level in a lot of skills, then you could probably get a decent price for it on one of these sites. The best thing to do is offer your character for sale, and see which site will offer the most for it. The problem with this is selling your character like this is actually against Runescape’s TOS, so they can ban you for it.

I would recommend you use merchanting in order to make a lot of GP (when I say a lot, I mean in the hundred millions), then sell around half of it to the Runescape gold sites, and then use the other half to make more money again through merchanting.

If you get it right, you can actually make quite a bit out of this method, but mastering merchanting can be a little tricky at times. Sometimes, you can’t find the item you want at the right price, or no one buys your items at the price you set for a long while don’t worry, tweak your sales prices until you get the right amount where you can easily buy and sell items when merchanting.

One tip when making money in Runescape is to be wary when selling your gold to people. Always find a reputable Runescape gold merchant before selling to them.
Have patience and good luck in your money-making adventures!

Aviansies method
1.Get 70 ranged & 60 strength/agility/
2.Go to God Wars Dungeon and take a mith grapple and crossbow with mithril bolts/
3.Make sure you are wearing an Armadyl armor piece. The pendant from the guardians in Temple of Ikov is the cheapest.
4.Bring 100 Bones to Peaches tablets, Excalibur, 100 nature runes, 500 fire runes, and the aforementioned mith grapple (Wield Ava’s accumulator!)
5.Go into Armadyl’s Eyrie, and find any aviansie and kill it.
6.Take the bones and any good loot. The bones will eventually replace your food slots, this is when you use one of the tablets to get peaches. This allows you to stay for long periods of time.
7.The best loot from these is 4 noted adamantite bars in one drop. These can sell for up to 3k each! After a couple of hours you can pay off all your equipment and then some.
â—¦Note: This is not the fastest way to make money in the game, but it does add some excitement to the moneymaking.

Barrows Method
1.Get to level 85 or above.
2.Read up on the Brothers:
â—¦Melee Brothers:
â– Dharok the Wretched
â– Verac the Defiled
â– Torag the Corrupted
â– Guthan the Infested
â—¦Magic:
â– Ahrim the Blighted
â—¦Ranged:
â– Karil the Tainted
3.Stock up on lobster, shark, pray potions, runes, and use lots of armour!
4.Bring teleports for faster travel to the Barrows area, which is tucked away near Port Phasmatys, in Morytania.
5.Find the barrows: follow a player or use a map.
6.Go into one of the barrow mounds. You will fight some stuff and eventually come to a treasure chest guarded by one of the Brothers.
7.Kill the brother!
8.Loot the treasure chest. You will find some stuff worth a bit, and if you are lucky you will find Barrows armor. Barrows armor is armor that resembles that of the Brothers. There are 6 sets of Barrows armor, one set for each. You will not always get armor pieces but after many runs you will have a full set!
9.Sell the set for a few million (or individual pieces for a few hundred K). Alternatively, you could KEEP the set, show it off to your friends, and use the great armor to kill other money-making creatures.

Blue Dragon Scale method
1.Get the following:
â—¦dusty key
â—¦50+ combat
â—¦anti-dragon shield
â—¦(Optional) Lvl 25 Magic and Varrock Teleport Runes
2.Head to Falador’s west bank and equip your armor and anti-dragonfire shield. Take the dusty key and teleport runes/tab in your inventory.
3.Climb over the broken wall west of the bank.
4.Continue north-west until the dungeon symbol (!) appears on your minimap. Climb down the ladder.
5.Continue down the hall. Stop at the gate with two suits of armor next to it, and a “Cauldron of Thunder”, and enter.
6.Go through the southern Gate. Keep heading east until you reach a two-way junction at the end of path. Don’t go into the room of giant bats.
7.Head south from this junction until you reach a room of magic axes. From there, continue south from the room until you reach a junction. Head west (If you see hill giants, you’ve gone the wrong way).
8.Continue along the path until you reach the lesser demons. Use your Dusty Key on the only gate in the area.
9.Pick up blue dragon scales. You will now see baby blue dragons and blue dragons. You don’t need to fight them; your job is to get the scales that other players have left on the ground.
10.Fill your inventory and teleport back to Falador. Bank the scales.
11.Repeat this process until you have 1,000 dragon scales. Grind the 1,000 dragon scales into dust.
12.Sell the dragon scale dust in the Grand Exchange. There’s a lot of demand for them so you should be able to sell at a high price.
â—¦Notes: Not recommended for anyone who feels uncomfortable running around the dragons. If you’re really worried, consider taking an anti-fire potion to render the dragon’s fire attacks harmless. Take a break and try something else once in a while.

Bolts of cloth
1.Take 20k and go to the sawmill.
2.Buy a full inventory of bolts of cloth.
3.Bank or sell to Grand Exchange for maximum price.
4.You should make 5k per inventory.

Chocolate Dust Method
1.Buy chocolate bars at the Grand Exchange.
2.Use a knife on them to turn them into chocolate dust. The dust sells for more than the bars cost. Beware, however, that you may occasionally cut yourself with the knife and lose a few hitpoints. The protect against melee prayer is ineffective against this.
3.The only way to prevent this is by using a pestle and mortar.

Combat Method: Fire Giants
1.Get to level 65 Combat with appropriate armor and weapons.
2.Get Fearless of Chaos Tunnels.
3.Get some Teleport Runes (In case of Portal Backfire. Read below.)
4.Head to Edgeville with the supplies.
5.Head North of Edgeville, to the mage named Zamorak (Monk of Saradomin). Beyond him, you should find a red (!) mark. Climb the rope down. You’ll immediately find an immense number of Giant Rock Crabs.
6.Head towards the North-West Portal. You should find yourself in a room of Fire Giants.
7.Head towards the westward end of the room, so you can pick them off one by one rather than 2 at a time.
8.Then, start slaying any you see.
â—¦Note: If the portal takes you to another room (which uncommonly happens), you’ll have to teleport out and start again…that is unless you can find your way back to that specific room. Don’t worry, it’s not a bug. It’s just part of how the Chaos Tunnels work.
9.Teleport out (once you have all your loot), or simply take the way out the way you came.
10.Sell whatever loot you want and be happy with your cash.
11.You usually get about 200k-300k for every trip.

Canfis Method: Meat
1.Go to Canfis (do Preist in Peril)
2.Buy raw meat or chicken from the meat store
3.Bank
4.Repeat until you have 1-10k meat/chicken
5.Sell in Grand Exchange for about 68 each
TIP:
Wear light clothing to keep you’re run energy up

Combat Method: Wolf Bones
1.Get a high enough combat to kill Level 26 to 78 wolves, as well as decent armor and weapons.
2.Head to Barbarian Village.
3.In the center, you shall find a hole.
4.Go down.
5.Go north, then go west at the first place you can.
6.Kill the wolves until you have a full inventory of Wolf Bones. You may also kill wolves on white wolf mountain, and bank in Catherby.
7.Bank in Edgeville.
8.Repeat until you have enough.
9.Sell on the Grand Exchange for about 430gp.

Dragons Bones(Rangers only)
1.Get the following:
â—¦Any kind of axe.
â—¦At least 2000 Gold.
â—¦Must know the Brimhaven Dungeon.
â—¦70+ ranged
â—¦Black dragonhide, spined boots, Archer ring, Archer helm.
â—¦Wealth ring.
â—¦Rune crossbow.
â—¦Broad bolts. They are just as good as adamantite bolts.
â—¦Anti Dragon Shield.
â—¦Bring at least 12 antifire potions.(if you wear an Antifire shield you will get 100% fire protection)
â—¦Either a charged Amulet of Glory, or some sort of teleportation tablet(Ardougne teleport suggested).
2.Head to Tzhaar and make sure you have the above.
3.Make your way to Brimhaven dungeon entrance, give the guy 875 G.P and enter the dungeon.
4.Once you make your way to fire giants, go to the last vine.
5.Switch run on, and run past Black Demons. The North chamber leads to Red dragons, East chamber leads to Bronze dragons, and South chamber leads to Iron/Steel dragons(recommended).
6.If you go to the Iron/Steel chamber, drink your antifire potion. There are sure to be a lot of people there, so go to the East part of the chamber. There are usually any people in the iron dragons there. If you are looking for Steel dragons, head to the middle. Kill one, and pick up dragon bones.
7.If you go to the Bronze dragon chamber, make sure you have drunk a dose of antifire potion. Kill a dragon, and pick up the dragon bones.
8.Teleport out of the brimhaven dungeon and bank.
9.Repeat the process. Each trip you could possibly make 30K+. It depends on how many dragon bones you get. If you collect 20, then that is 40K+. If you get the rare draconic visage drop, then teleport out of there, head to the Grand Exchange, and sell it.

Equa Leaves
1.Go to the Tree Gnome Stronghold and buy a large number of equa leaves for 2gp each.
2.Go to the Grand Exchange and sell for about 50 each.
â—¦Note: this way might not always work but it often does because people are too lazy to go to the Tree Gnome Stronghold just to get equa leaves.
â—¦If you buy 500 equa leaves for 2 gp each and sell in the Grand Exchange for about 50 each, that’s 23k profit!

Gnome Deliveries
1.Compete Tree gnome village and the grand tree, and bring at least 150 gp and running restoration items.
2.If you didn’t learn gnome cooking from Gianne Sr, do so.
3.Then get hard deliveries from Aluft Jr.
4.Deliver them and you’ll get great rewards such as half key, gems, gnome scarf (approx 600k), gnome goggles (30 k), seeds, herbs (snapdragon or three toadflax) and more.

Fishing: Lobsters Method 2
1.Get the following:
â—¦lobster pot
â—¦optional:68 fishing to get in the fishing guild,or 76 fishing to fish sharks.
2.Head East of the Bank until you find fishing spots. Start fishing until you have a full inventory. When you’re done simply bank and repeat.
Tips
•You can always fish at the fishing guild, which is West of Seers Village and North of East Ardougne. It’s similar to Catherby fishing, but its less of a walk. Requires 68 Fishing to get in.
•You can substitute fishing lobster with sharks if you have the level (requires 76 fishing).

Fishing: Monkfish Method
1.Get the following:
â—¦Small Net
â—¦Optional: 85 Fishing for best results
2.Complete “Swan Song” quest.
3.Head to the Piscatoris Fishing Colony.
4.Start fishing for Monkfish. Bank whenever you have full inventory. Repeat until desired amount reached. Do not cook them unless you want to gain cooking xp and lose money.
5.Sell the Monkfish in the GE or to players on the forums since you can get up to 460gp on each monkfish, and they are sometimes easier to catch than lobsters at a high level, this is one of the best ways you can make money of of fishing in the entire GAME.

Flax/Bowstring Method
1.Understand that this is method is good for spending a large amount of time in RuneScape. It’s also a great way to level up your crafting level-which can be used at high levels to make even more money!
2.Get the following 10+ in Crafting skill to spin bowstrings
3.Go to Seers Village bank, and store your Backpack’s contents there. Head south from the Bank, to the flax field.
4.Pick an inventory of 28 flax.
5.Go to the top floor of the building to the northwest of the field (just North of Church property) to spin the flax into bowstrings if you have 10 crafting level.
6.Put the bowstrings in your bank in Seers Village.
7.Repeat the process until you have a substantial amount of bowstrings.
â—¦Alternate method: Buy 2k of flax on the grand exchange, go to Lumbridge and spin it all then resell on the G.E for profit.

Tips
•If you don’t have level 10 crafting, you can do the following quests which reward crafting experience (m = members only):
â—¦Sheep Shearer
â—¦Goblin Diplomacy
â—¦Dwarf Cannon (m)
â—¦Murder Mystery (m)
â—¦Elemental Workshop (m)
•Pick the flax and spin at the same time. It is a lot easier than going back and forth to and from the bank to the spinning wheel.
•It takes about 45 minutes - 1 Hour to pick 1k flax if you do nothing but pick flax and the connection of your internet is not flaky.

Fletching
1.First of all get 60 woodcut and cut yews west of catherby.
2.then go to grand exchange.
3.Fletch then into yew longs (70 fletch needed) and then pick flax and spin them into bow strings.
â—¦Then they sell for a lot of money.

Goat horn method
1.Go to Nardah and kill goats (level 21) west of the bank. Goats drop horns 100% of the time.
2.Bank these or use a pestle and mortar on them to turn them into horn dust.
3.Sell horn dust on the grand exchange for around 800gp each.
4.Optional: Turn them into goat horn dust to sell for 900gp (774gp The G.E. is dropping the price)
â—¦There is a Bank right near the Goats, really only about 15 steps*

H.A.M. Caves Method
1.Get the following:
â—¦17 in Mining
â—¦23 Agility
â—¦23 Thieving
â—¦Ability to kill level 50s with help from an NPC.
â—¦Beat The Lost Tribe and Death to the Dorgeshuun quests
2.Go into the H.A.M. caves and pick the lock the trapdoor INSIDE the cave (it will be invisible if you haven’t beaten the quest). You should find some H.A.M. guards. #Pickpocket the guards and obtain the keys. It’s possible to obtain a clue scroll (lvl 1) while doing this.
3.Open the Chest with the corresponding key. The bronze key you will have to go through a crevice in the south-west of the room, the silver you have to pick-lock the door in the north-west corner of the room, the iron is in the the north-east corner with the locked door, and the Steel is in the south-east or in the big northern room with chests. The chests give jewelry or coins.

By reading the title, you might be asking yourself, what is flipping? Flipping is a term that describes the action of buying something for a lower price, and selling it for higher. It’s basically the same thing from the last two sections. Except now, you are going to be dealing with very expensive items instead of low priced items under 1000GP.

The items you will be dealing with now have a high price tag, running anywhere from 20K-1M. Yes, its very expensive to buy per item, however there is an advantage to buying items for such a high price tag: The range of their maximum and minimum prices. Before, the items you would merchant had a difference of 10-20 from max to min, maybe 50gp difference at the highest. However, the items that you will be dealing with now have thousands of GP in difference from their minimum price to maximum price. If you play your cards right, you can make a lot of money from this.

Here’s a record of my flipping from a while ago that you can follow along in order to get an idea of how this is going to be like:

One morning I realized that there was a huge difference between the minimum and maximum price of a Rune Berserker Shield (90K minimum and 135K maximum at the time).

Having a few million GP, I decided to invest a few hundred K’s into Rune Berserker Shield and see how it works out (of course, the other millions of GP were invested in other stuff at the time). So I bought 5 Rune Berserker Shields at 100K each (10K above the minimum asking price, but still 35k under the maximum asking price)

I placed the order and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, to my surprise, the order had been filled (because there are desperate people who need money, so they sell at near minimum prices in order to get money quickly)

After buying the 5 Rune Berserker Shields, I immediately put them for sale, but for 130K each, meaning I am selling all 5 of them for 30k more than I bought them for. Then I went to school.

Once I got back home, they were sold! (After school is usually a busy time, so there is high demand for items used for Bounty Hunters, Dueling, Fists of Guthix and all the other fun minigames)

So lets see how much of a profit I made.

Money Made Selling Shields - Money Used Buying Shields = Profit

650K - 500k = 150K!

So I made 150K just from being on Runescape for about 2 minutes to place the buying order, and the selling order. 2 MINUTES of being on Runescape, and I made 150k!

Then I tried it with seven…

A 210K profit!

Well, it seemed to me like I was on to something, so that night before I went to sleep, I decided to place another order to buy shields for a near minimum asking price. The next morning I woke up and found that I bought had 10 for 95K each, meaning I spent 950K buying all 10. That morning I put all 10 to sell for 125K each, and left to school. I come home, 1.25M sitting in my collection box.

That means a profit of 300K just from spending 2 minutes placing a buying and selling order!

I continued the process and made bigger deals

And that was a recollection of my experiences flipping the expensive item Rune Berserker Shield. So you see, if you flip expensive items that have a wide margin between their minimum and maximum values, you can make a lot of money.

Now, it has come to my attention that the price of Rune Berserker Shields has stabilized, so you can’t do exactly what I did back then. However, here are some items that are currently hot on the market; items which I would recommend for expensive item flipping:

Free Worlds:

•Treasure Trail Items (trimmed armors, gold armors/robes, god armors)
•Fists of Guthix Rewards
•New Items that come out

•Easter Eggs and Pumpkins (For when you become experienced and have at least 6M)
Members:

Including items already stated in the F2P list, you can trade items such as…

•Seeds
•Herbs
•Potions
•Higher Level Food

Tips:

•ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS be on the lookout for new items that just came out. If they are expensive, like the Rune Berserker Shield, chances are that there will be tens of thousands of GP between their minimum and maximum price, meaning you could make tons of money without having to more than 10M gp already on you.
•You shouldn’t invest all your money into expensive item flipping. Instead, have some money invested into things mentioned in the last sections, and use a chunk of your money for expensive item flipping, because you never know which way the Roller Coaster like Grand Exchange will head next.
