A lot of players on Runescape not only want to be rich, but also, want to be tough, strong, have good combat skills. Well, not to worry. If you are looking to train, there are still some great ways you can make tons of money along the way! Here are some suggestions on what you can train for certain levels, and how you can make money by training on them at the same time!

　　1. Killing Men at Edgeville and Getting Their Bones (Level 3-10)

　　Men are ideal to train on at low levels because they only do a maximum of 1 damage, and have a pretty good ammount of EXP as well. Not only that, but the men in Edgeville (the ones in the barn) are situated very close to the Edgeville Bank (just north of it). This is good not only because you could get food from the bank if you wanted, but also, it serves as a good place to deposit your bones that you get from killing the men.

　　

　　You may be wondering, why should I be getting the bones? Well my friend, those bones the men drop are worth 80gp EACH! With the introduction of the Grand Exchange, the prices for bones have spiked up because it serves as a cheaper alternative to the big bones for people who want to increase their prayer level. So you know that demand for the bones will never run out. All you do is kill the men, getting exp, and pick up the bones. Once your inventory is filled with bones, you just go south of the barn to the Edgeville Bank. Deposit all the bones and repeat the process.

　　Once you have enough bones (depends on how much you want to sell at a time), head on over to the Grand Exchange. Put up and offer to sell the bones and let the GE take care of the rest. Botta -bing-botta-boom! You now have gold! Lets take a look at how much gold we can expect:

　　100 Bones x 80ea (price to sell at) = 8,000GP Total from selling all the bones

　　500 Bones x 80ea = 40,000GP

　　1000 Bones x 80ea = 80,000GP!!

　　WOW! So not only are you getting TONS of experience for your combat levels, but you are also getting TONS of money!

　　Once you have reached a combat level of 10, you are ready to proceed to the next thing to train on.

　　2. Cows Help you “MOO”ve on Up! (Level 15-40)

　　

　　Many people in Runescape train on cows during their lower levels, but many fail to realize how much money they could be making while on their training. Some do realize how to make money while training on cows, but fail to pick the one best secret spot to train at.

　　How can money be made by killing cows, and what is the secret spot to train on them?

　　Answer: Cowhides and Gnome Copters

　　Cowhides run for about 120 GP EACH on the Grand Exchange! That means for every cow you are killing, you are receiving 120GP. That can add up especially when you start killing hundreds of cows a day for your training.

　　Most people don’t realize the value of cowhides, and so they just leave them on the floor. However, some people do, and so they choose to train on cows at places like the Fally Cow Barn and the Cow Barn at Lumbridge (the one north of Al Kharid). However, these people run into the trouble of having to travel quite a distance in order to bank their full inventories of heavy cowhides. This has been the only down side to training on cows until the release of the Gnome Copter area.

　　Here is the procedure you should take to becoming wealthy while training your combat on cows!

　　1. Clear your inventory and head Over to the Gnome Copters Area (North of Draynor Village, East of Draynor Manor)

　　

　　2. Once there, start slaughtering the cows

　　

　　3. Pick up ONLY the cowhides. If you are training prayer, go ahead and pick up the bones, but don’t let them take up space in your inventory.

　　

　　4. Get an inventory full of cowhides

　　

　　5. Head over to the deposit boxes

　　

　　6. Deposit all the cowhides and repeat the process

　　

　　The Gnome Copters area is relatively new to Runescape, and so the Cow killing advantage there is not known to many. Training here eliminates the need to go far in order to bank the cowhides, ensuring you can train and money money like a machine.

　　Cowhides easily sell at the Grand Exchange for 120GP a pop, so get almost 1000 cowhides, and thats over 100K!

　　3. Killing Giants Will Make You a Money Giant (Level 40-50)

　　Now that you are a bit stronger and hopefully have some good armor, or at least can kill fast, it is time to train on Giants. To get to where the Giants are, you need to have a Brass Key, then head over to this little roofed room west of Varrok, near the bridge from Varrok to Barbarian Village.

　　

　　Once there, use the Brass Key with the door and climb down the ladder inside. Welcome to the Giants training Area.

　　Here you will find tons of Giants that you can train on. They are excellent combat exp, and they have good drops. But what you want to get from them is Big Bones that are worth a unlike anything compared to the last step. Giants drop Big Bones (always) and Limpwurt Roots (sometimes). The Big Bones are worth big bucks, at 410gp EACH! And Limpwurt Roots are worth even more, at 670gp EACH!!! Just getting an inventory full of them is worth good money.

　　Once you’re inventory is filled with Big Bones and Limpwurt Roots, just head east to Varrok, bank the goods, and come back to resume your training/money-making. Then head on over to the Grand Exchange and turn your Limpwurt Roots and Big Bones intro BIG BUCKS (meaning tons of GP)!

　　If you can kill 1000 Giants, and you pick up the big bone each time, then…

　　Amount of Big Bones x Price Each = Total Value

　　1000 x 540 = 410,000GP+!!

　　And if you were to get the same amount of Limpwurt Roots, then…

　　Amount of Limpwurt Roots x Price Each = Total Value

　　1000 x 670 = 670,000GP+!!

　　Meaning, killing around 1000 Giants and picking up the Limpwurt Roots and Big Bones can make you an overnight millionaire and train those stats! What are you waiting for?

　　Pro’s of training here: Good exp, good money from Big Bones (410gp ea) and Limpwurt Roots (670 ea), and makes more money than the next step about Zombies.

　　Cons: Usually a busy place, so at times it may get annoying to find a giant to kill, and varrok bank isn’t right next to the place.

　　Personally, if you want to make big money and train your stats, Giants is the place to do it. However, if you want to get more efficient training with the sacrifice of making a little less money, read on about the Zombie Graveyard.

　　4. The Zombie Graveyard (Level 50-65)

　　The Zombie Graveyard is a dangerous place located in the Wilderness. Luckily players can no longer attack you in the wilderness, so at least you are safe from them. But there’s still the Rev. Ghosts that come out randomly and attack. Not only that, but its a multi zone, so 5 zombies that are level 18-24 can attack you all at once! Its a very dangerous place to be for low level players.

　　Why then, would this place be the next place to train? What would make this place so worth it? There are planks laying around there that are worth 200GP EA, thats what! There are a few planks laying around the floor of the Zombie Graveyard, and planks are always in demand by members who need to train their construction levels. So just keep training, and picking up the planks. Its a good training area too, because you can just leave your character there, and the zombies will automatically attack you, so its almost like auto training your combat. Just be careful, because its a multi-attack zone, and multiple zombies can attack you at once (thats why its suggest to be a higher level and have good armor). Once you are done picking up the planks, there’s even a convenient place located to bank the planks right next to the Graveyard at the Bounty Hunters bank (just go west of the Graveyard to get to Bounty Hunters). Bank your planks there and repeat the process.

　　

　　Once you have enough (depending on how much you want to sell, head on over to the Grand Exchange and sell at will. Lets see how much money you can really make out of these planks:

　　100 Planks x 200ea (price to sell at) = 20,000GP Total from selling all the planks

　　500 Planks x 200ea = 100,000GP

　　1000 Planks x 200ea = 200,000GP!!

　　Pro’s of training here: Good exp, never busy, sometimes its like auto training, and bank is nearby to store items.

　　Cons: Risky because of Rev. Ghosts and planks are not worth as much as the big bones and limp roots the Giants drop.

　　5. Cockroach Soldiers (Level 65-??)

　　Cockroach Soldiers drop some of the best items on F2P, and its no wonder that this place always has higher level F2Pers busy with training.

　　The first thing you must do is complete the Stronghold of Player Safety (located in between Barbarian Village and Edgeville). Once you have completed it, climb down the crevice. You will be at an underground dungeon with tons of different cockroaches. Locate an area with Cockroach Soldiers and begin training.

　　Recommended Stats

　　Range Level 70+ (if you choose to Range them)

　　Attack 40+, Strength 65+, Defence 40+ (if you choose to Melee them)

　　Range is the easiest and most effective way to kill them since they are weaker against Ranged attacks, and also because your Dragon Hide armor provides excellent defense against their ranged Magic attacks.

　　Cockroach soldiers have a very high defense against magic attacks, and an average defense against Melee attacks.

　　Equipment:

　　Range Set:

　　Leather or Dragon Hide Coif

　　Green Dragon Hide Body

　　Green Dragon Hide Chaps

　　Green Dragon Hide Vambraces

　　A good amount of Iron Arrows

　　If you are ranging, just go ahead and start ranging. Make sure it’s not too close to you or it will start melee attacking.

　　If you are Melee, drink a strength potion and then begin attacking. Once you see your Strength Level has gone down to 2 levels above the regular strength level, take another sip of the strength potion.

　　Here are some of their good drops that will make you a good ammount of money:

The last chapter of my Runescape money making guide.

Scamming and Hacking into accounts are unfortunately very common in Runescape. The tips below will help you to protect your account from any hacking and scamming when playing.

Hacking Account

The most common way that people can hack your account is that they get your password, whether it be from key loggers, simply guessing it, or other advanced macro programs that are there today. Follow these tips to further protect your account.

•Change your password often: I try to change my password at least 2 times a week. This prevents anyone from constantly gaining access to your account.
•Be sure to set your recovery questions: This should be one of the first things that you do when you open an account. It is helpful not only for regaining access to your account if it happens to get hacked, but also in case you happen to forget it as well.
•Never give your password to anyone for any reason: Never type your password in the chat screen JAGEX does block your password from being displayed, but you could mystipe it so it will be still visible!! Trust me I’ve done it.
•Be sure to run your virus program daily to detect any viruses: Trojan Viruses often carry key loggers which can track what you are typing, including your password.
•Make your password impossible to guess! I use a password generator for this. A password generator creates a random password for you automatically, just be sure to write it down, lol.
•Use a Firewall on your computer - Using a Firewall is a great way to protect yourself from any unseen threats.
Earn 5-10 Million in Less Than 10 Minutes!

Have you ever been playing Runescape, and saw a message indicating that Run- escape will be Upgrading or performing maintenance on the game? Well this is your ticket to getting rich very quickly. When you see this message you need to head to the Magic Guild ASAP. When you arrive logout then log back in (after update). Make sure you have a lot of money in your inventory, because you will need it. If you don’t have much, then just take what you have.

Why The Magic Guild?

Whenever Runescape is completed with there upgrade all the items in the shops across Runescape will be reset to the maximum number of items, which is 5,000. Your goal is to buy as many high quality runes (law, death, soul, etc.) as possible. The shops items cost is based on how many of the particular item is in stock.

With the maximum number of items in stock you can get runes extremely cheap, and then resell them later at street value. Please use our price guide to find prices of all the runes.

As long as you can purchase these runes cheaper then the street value you can make huge profit. Ex. I bought almost 3 million worth of various runes, I than sold them in less then 5 minutes (once arriving to the bank to sell) for over 20 million!

The third chapter of my Runescape money making guide.

Ok, so you’ve made your first million of gold or so now what can you do? Well, if your like me, than I want to make more gp, lol. This chapter will show my personal little trick to turn you into a multi-millionaire in a matter of days!!

By now you should have figured out what item you personally like to sell and trade, and know the high and low prices of what this item sales for. In this next example I will tell you how I started a feather business, (I chose feathers to start with because this is how I first started making my money and I know this Runescape item (as far as how to push it) better than any other.

This plan will work with any item in the game providing that is has a generally demand. Some examples would be logs, iron, coal, steel, food items, etc. Please note that I am a member, therefore selling is a little eas ier since I can post the items I’m selling in the official Jagex Runescape Forums. F2P’s may have better results with an Iron, Coal or Steel business.

The first step in creating your Runescape business is to decide how much you are willing to pay your workers.

How I figure this price is to go by the average price that the item sales for, and pay a little above it, but still below the high (the price that you will sell the item for.) In my feather business I currently pay 6 gp per each feather. I chose 6 because the current value of feathers in the free worlds is 5 gp each.

Paying above the “street” price allows workers to receive more gp from me ( the buyer) than anyone else, (most people are offering to buy for 1-3 gp, because they do not know that you can sell them for 10 gp to members.) This keeps the sellers/workers happy and also keeps them from selling to other players.

And as you have learned in Chapter 1, feathers can sell for 10 gp each to members. (If you are a free player view the FORUMS to find buyers!) This means that I currently profit 4gp per feather, which adds up very quickly when you are multiplying by 10,000 or higher!

Establish a Payment Plan

The second step is to lay out some kind of payment plan for your workers, basically when they will receive there paycheck. I currently pay my workers once a week, every Friday (unless I will not be able to be online, for some reason.) I have created a website for my workers, so that they can check when payments will be made.

The third step is to hire workers! This may sound hard, but trust me you can find many very quickly! Everyone is looking for money.The best way to find workers is to go the Varrock Bank and simply type “Hiring Workers, Pays Well, Add me to find out details!” When a person mes- sages you then give them the info. The other spot to hire workers is of course the chicken farm (for feathers) Northeast of Lumbridge.

What is a Runescape Auto Woodcutter
The Runescape auto woodcutter is a macro or bot used by probably the most despised players in Runescape. An auto woodcutter is a program you can download that allows you to be away from your computer for long periods of time and still get a great deal of woodcutting done. The auto woodcutter cuts trees and then takes them to the bank and then goes back to those trees and proceeds to cut more wood and all this is happening on autopilot. This tool however is obviously against Runescape’s rules and has singled handedly had thousands upon thousands of Runescape accounts banned.
Where Do You Download Free Runescape Auto Woodcutters
Without going into the specifics of where you can obtain yourself a Runescape Auto Woodcutter (because I’m not encourage you to use them) they can generally be found fairly easily if you do a bit of searching around. Searching on Google for ‘Runescape Auto Woodcutters’ of ‘Free Auto Woodcutter Downloads’ would probably start you off in the right direction. Though with that said, be very aware of what you download from this malicious sites, many of them lull you into thinking that you are downloading a Runescape woodcutter but you are actually downloading a trojan that allows the controller to record your keystrokes and potentially find out your passwords and hack your Runescape account.

How Do Auto Woodcutters Work in Runescape
The Runescape auto woodcutter is usually made through a program such as ZIP, Scar. The way the macro works is you have two color scanners, once color scanner scans the exact color of the leaves of the tree, and the other with the trunk. After you scan these two colors you click start and your mouse automatically starts moving, goes to turn your public chat to “friends” and starts chop, chop, chopping away at the trees. After you get a full load it then takes you to a bank, banks them, and runs back to the trees just to start repeating the process for limited number of times.

Is the Downloading the Free Auto Woodcutter Macros Harmful
This macro is not harmful to your computer, but it is potentially very harmful to your Runescape account, if Jagex finds out your using it and bans your, and it definitely makes woodcutting more difficult for the millions of other Runescapers players who make their Runescape living cutting trees. You should be aware that Jagex is constantly monitoring players game play for suspicious style of playing not to mention have a number of player mods scanning the worlds for autoers as well. In the long run I personally feel you are much better off to just cut them yourself.

Do Random Events in Runescape Affect the Runescape Auto Woodcutters
These days people have been making auto programs that can actually log off or solve the random when one appears, down from the small mysterious box all the way up to mazes! To talk I wouldn’t know but people are still trying to design it so your little macroers can talk to everyone and act realistic. Soon they will probably make it so they can even trade items from account to account.

Why Do Players Use Auto Woodcutters for Runescape
The most common way people use these auto woodcutters is to make brand new accounts with super hard names that way you can not report them because they’re name is too confusing. These people will check on this account from time to time to collect they’re gatherings. An example of hard names would be random gibberish starting at dwqp5292 all the way up to ughdurhr895i, pretty confusing eh? Some even argue that there is little to no point in reporting autoers anyway because these days there are thousands upon thousands still in use and Runescape accounts are free to make so there is a never ending number of new autoers entering the game, and they are being made by people that don’t really care if their accounts are banned because they are not playing Runescape for fun they are playing to make money via selling Runescape gold.

Runescape Glitches & Bugs
Throughout the history of Runescape, players have discovered glitches some that are no big deal and some that caused nothing but havoc. Below are only some of the known glitches of Runescape that have been found in the past.
Completing Dragon Slayer With No Magic
As you may know, level 31+ magic is required in order to cast telekinetic grab on one of the map pieces for Dragon Slayer. However, these map pieces were once tradable during Runescape Classic, which meant a pure could buy the map piece and kill Elvarg without getting the necessary magic level in the future. The only way to get the map piece was during the Beta version of Runescape 2, when a player could transfer his/her items from Runescape Classic. This made it possible for someone to transfer the map piece that was meant to be dropped by Wormbrain, the goblin. Since the Beta version of Runescape 2 was only temporary, only a few pures that have a rune platebody are left.

The Runescape Knife Glitch
An old glitch in Runescape Classic allowed a player to hit WAY higher than he/she would be capable of without using the glitch. To do this, you would have to fill your inventory with knives and a weapon. You would then drop the weapon while walking, which wasn’t possible in Runescape Classic. This caused your character to equip the knife, which would add to your weapon’s strength. This meant that someone with 10 strength and a bronze axe could hit at least 25!

The Runescape Pink Party Hat Dupe (November 7, 2003)
Nowadays, people may tell you that they can duplicate an item and make you rich. That is not possible anymore, but this Runescape glitch was in the past! Before, there was a minor bug in Jagex’s code, which a few people found out and took advantage of. This bug allowed any non-stackable item to be duplicated, which meant these people could use the identification code of expensive items and make as many as they wanted. Soon enough, the magenta partyhat (people called them pink) moved from being the most expensive partyhat to the cheapest partyhat. The magenta partyhat moved from about 5 million gold to only 200k gold in a matter of days and caused a big dent in the economy. Apparently, these newly duplicated items looked exactly like the original, so Jagex couldn’t tell who had the real partyhats and who didn’t. Now to this day, the magenta partyhats are now of a darker shade and are still the cheapest partyhat because there are a lot more of them than the other partyhats.

The Falador Massacre (June 6, 2006)
On the “day of the devil,” was the day Cursed You was celebrating his accomplishment of achieving level 99 construction before everyone else on Runescape. However, it wasn’t all fun and games when some people found a glitch that let them go playerkilling outside of the wilderness. Durial321 and a couple others used this bug to attack and kill people scattered across Falador. People lost all sorts of valuable items because of this bug and soon demanded a rollback. Apparently, this memorable catastrophe occurred during the middle of the night for most of Jagex staff members. It was too late to have a rollback, but Jagex did what they could and eventually had Durial321 banned, possibly along with others. Sadly, the people killed that day did not receive their lost items back, but Jagex will do what they can to make sure this won’t happen again.

Other Runescape Bugs & Glitches
In the month of January 2007, a rollback occurred, which affected a handful of members playing at the time. This meant that the last few hours were practically erased completely, and all the things that players did in that time were gone. In addition to experience lost, it was reported that some items were duplicated in the process. For example, if someone were to sell a white partyhat to someone else during this time, the seller would get to keep the white partyhat and the money while the buyer also had a white partyhat.

During late March 2007, there were several small graphic glitches and so Jagex staff used to Wise Old Man to fix them. It appeared that they coded the character of this NPC to “watch over” the glitches and make sure they didn’t happen again. One example was in world 82, where many people were able to walk on the water by Catherby fishing spots. Mod Ash soon patched up the problem and stuck the Wise Old Man there and made him run some code to fetch stuck people out of the water. There were also a few hidden system updates were Jagex quickly fixed the bugs and put the Wise Old Man back in Draynor.

In addition to the Runescape glitches stated above, there are also quite a few of unusual things someone can do while in a player owned house. For example, there is one glitch where a player can eat quickly while sitting down and be able to move their character in the seat itself! There are also other house glitches where one can attack someone else in a dungeon even though player-vs-player (PVP) mode is off. These bugs on Runescape are not reported to be harmful but we do not promote doing this since it can be considered Bug Abuse, which is against Rule 4 in the game.

Runescape Scams
If you have been playing Runescape for any significant amount of time you will have no doubt pick up that there is a significant amount of players that are willing to do almost anything to cut corners in the game, whether that be beg other players for hours for Runescape items, use cheats specifically designed for Runescape, or what I will be discussing in this articles – Runescape scams.
There is an ever increasing number of Runescape players searching for how to scam people on Runescape with Runescape scams, and with Runescape’s ever growing popularity there are unfortunately new, fresh and oblivious victims joining the game everyday so there is no shortage of new players to scam. So what can you do to make sure that you aren’t the next victim of one these Runescape scams.

Avoid Runescape Scams and get to Keep Your Runescape Items
One of the most common Runescape scams is the old trading scam where the scammer will start out by offering an item or amount of cash and then quickly change the items they are offering to something very similar in description or image to what you believe that you were to be receiving from the trade, but when in actual fact the value of the Runescape item or amount of Runescape gold you will be receiving will be vastly short of what you originally thought you were receiving. So how can your avoid these sorts of Runescape scams, well it’s pretty simple really – don’t rush your Runescape trades. Take your time, review each screen before accepting the trade, make sure you are actually getting the Runescape items you original agreed to. In addition to checking Runescape trade screens, to some degree, you shouldn’t trust players you don’t know, regardless of their level. There are a lot more Runescape scams other than this trade screen scams, here are a couple of the more common Runescape scams you will hear whilst you play Runescape.

Item Duplicator Runescape Scam
This scam involves someone offering to duplicate your Runescape items for you, all you have to do is give them your Runescape items and then they will do their “magic” to them. The reality is that they will take your items and never return. Of course this scams sounds so simple it is hard to believe that anyone would fall for it, well often what many of these scammers will do is suggest to you that you give them a cheaper item, like adamite or mithril armor or weapons and then they will proceed to give you back two of the items you just gave them, and then they may even suggest you give them another cheap item which they will again give back two of, and now having built a little trust up you may give them a couple of items that are little more expensive like some rune armor which they will then keep. So whilst they have given you some adamite and mithril items you have lost out overall because they stole your rune items which were far more gold.

The Personal Item Duplicator Scam
This Runescape scam is a little cruder and essentially involves someone convincing you that they have found out a way to duplicate Runescape items, and that you can do it as well. Then they will something to the effect of, “all you have to do is place the Runescape item on the floor and then wait 5 seconds and then stand on the item and then simultaneously press ALT + F4, at which point your internet window will close and you will be logged out of Runescape and considering it will take you quite awhile to load a new window and load Runescape again by which time the items you dropped will have spawned so that everyone can see them and which point the person who convinced you that you could duplicate your Runescape items has picked the items your left on ground up and run away.

These are a few of the more popular Runescape Scams out there and as I mentioned earlier in this articles more and more people are searching to find out how to scam people on Runescape and the old saying that there is a sucker born every minute is relevant in Runescape as it is in real life. So be aware of things that are too good to be true and remember that there are no such things are Runescape item duplicators so don’t fall for the Runescape scams that involved people claiming that they can duplicate your Runescape items.

They were dropped all over Runescape on Christmas, Easters, and Halloween in 2001 and 2002, but unfortunately were not dropped in 2003 when Jagex decided that the introduction of these rare items was detrimental to the Runescape economy in light of the fact that people were hording these holiday drops and they were becoming quite expensive items because they were rare. They have now become the most expensive items in Runescape by a long way with prices for these rare items now reaching millions of Runescape gold and no doubt some of the rarer party hats will soon be worth over a billion Runescape gold pieces.
Runescape Party Hats or Phats
Runescape party hats, often referred to as Runescape phats, were introduced into the game in Christmas of 2001. These Runescape party hats were not actually dropped in Runescape themselves rather they were introduced through the form of Runescape party crackers. These party crackers were dropped in Runescape for free and players were able to pick them up and then use them on other players. Then just like with normal party crackers inside there was an item accompanied by a party hat. One player would get the item, which was random, while the other player would get the party hat. Now at the time obtaining the item that the party cracker contained was normally far more valuable but within a matter of weeks these Runescape party hats became exceedingly valuable as people realized that there was obviously a limited number of them available.

So with the dropping of these party crackers and party hats a new market was created, the Runescape rare items market. People began collecting these party hats attempting to collect Runescape party hat sets which are basically where a player had all the different colors of party hats, which includes, blue, white, green, yellow, red and pink (purple). These Runescape party hat sets are now worth well over a billion Runescape gold which and there is a very vibrant market for these items.

Runescape Easter Eggs
The Runescape Easter eggs were dropped in Easter 2002 and unlike the wearable party hats were edible this time healing player quite a considerable amount of damage. Whilst these items are still traded and highly valued they are not as prolifically traded as the wearable Runescape rare items nor are they as sort after.

Runescape Halloween Masks
These Runescape Halloween masks were the second wearable holiday item that was dropped in Runescape. This time the masks were just dropped rather than being contained in another item unlike the party hats were, but like the party hats there were wearable. This time the Runescape market was more aware at just how valuable these halloween masks were going to be in the future and Runescape rare items began collecting them from the outset and many players collected all three Runescape halloween masks, red, blue and green to combine them into Runescape mask sets. These items like the Runescape party hats are exceedingly valuable, though not quite as valuable due to the fact that there were many more Runescape masks dropped and collected than party hats.

Runescape Santa Hats
The Runescape santa hats were the final of the Runescape rare items to be dropped as a holiday item. These santa hats were dropped for Christmas of 2002 and were like the masks in that people were well aware at this stage as to just how valuable these santa hats would become in the future and as such people again began collecting and hording them from the outset. Today these Runescape santa hats are the popularly traded Runescape rare item and of all the rare items available they are in the highest quantity still remaining in the game.

Runescape Rare Items Future
All of theses Runescape rare items are exceedingly valuable and their value is fairly likely to grow considerable higher in the coming months and years. The rates at which the market price for these rare items grows is amazing with most of these items more than tripling in value each year. It has already been mentioned that already a Runescape party hat set is worth well over a billion Runescape gold pieces and I’d imagine that it won’t be long until a single Runescape party hat will be worth over a billion Runescape gold pieces by itself.

Runescape Gold – To Buy Cheap Runescape Gold or Use Free Runescape Gold Guides?
Well for many players of Runescape there are two main desires; one is to be very skilled; two is to be very rich. Now developing skills takes time but becoming wealthy in the game of Runescape doesn’t necessarily require you to be a high level. So how do the majority of players go about gaining Runescape Gold?
Well for most it is a method of playing the game and working out how to make money by developing skills that can earn good amounts of Runescape money in comparison to the time invested. For others they have developed a keen sense of the Runescape markets and managed to provide a service of buying and selling major raw and processed materials that are in high demand and supply. I mean if you have a full or part time job and are looking to really start enjoying Runescape without spending the first few weeks of your Runescape career scrapping together a few thousand Runescape gold pieces to buy yourself iron amour; then for as little as $10 you could get yourself a million Runescape gold pieces and be well onto your way to really leveling some of those skills and building your own ability to earn Runescape gold via playing the game.

Alternatively if you are already a fairly experience player with a 100k in your bank, you might be well advise to look into some of the free Runescape gold making guides available to turn that 100k into a few million. Either way I’d probably properly research the ways of making Runescape gold from free fan sites and guide sites before I headed off to buy a Runescape millions guide or one like it.

Runescape Password Security

OK so what can you do to protect you Runescape password? It is going to sound simple and if you have heard it once you would have heard it a thousand times, don’t use the same password for Runescape as you do other places. So a simple rule that will save you a lot of grief is just to never, under any circumstance, tell someone your Runescape password.

Now I mentioned earlier that lots of sites atomically encrypt data to prevent site admins or owners from using that information against users, this usually includes passwords. However encryptions like most things can be broken, so you want to make sure you make your password as secure as possible. So you password should consist of at least 8 character and include both letters and numbers. This should ensure that your password is as difficult to break as it can be.

It seems to be of growing popularity that Runescape players that are sick of earning gold the regular way are looking for quick ways to hack people’s accounts and one of the most popular ways is having files installed on other Runescape player’s computers to collect the user’s Runescape password. How do you avoid having you account hacked this way – simple – don’t download mysterious files form untrustworthy resources. Just because it is on the internet and says it isn’t a malicious file doesn’t mean it is safe, and if you haven’t already installed spyware and virus protection I highly recommend you get on top of that, because the internet is full of nasty files and you need a means of protecting both your computer and precious details from such things.
Another seemingly simple plan is also to make sure that you periodically change your runescape passwords. Whilst this technique is more often used to prevent your accounts being hacked on sites that have cookies enabled - which isnt’t the case for Runescape. Runescape Password Finder, Cracker, List and Hacks

As I mentioned above hundreds of people everyday are searching for a Runescape password finder, or runescape password cracker or hack, but the reality is there just aren’t any. I mean I don’t think that people are going to post free Runescape password lists on the internet that are of any use. I mean surely if a Runescape hacker had players’ Runescape passwords they would use them for themselves, remove the valuable contents of the account then be done with the account. I mean what benefit is there for them by offering other Runescape players access to the account. As for Runescape password finders well I can’t really comment that much on them, to my knowledge they don’t exist and I have been playing Runescape since 2001, and how exactly would a password finder work? Unless the Runescape was obvious stored somewhere there is essentially nothing to be found, so unfortunately for many “want to be” Runescape password hackers they will go ahead and download programs claiming to be Runescape password finders or hacks but they are actually only downloading trojans or key loggers onto their own computers allowing others to hack their accounts. So if you are looking to hack Runescape accounts, save yourself the grief of having your own Runescape account hacked by playing Runescape the way it was meant to be played and stop looking for shortcuts

Bounty Hunter Combat Changes and Rewards

When we introduced Bounty Hunter in December 2007, we intended it, alongside Clan Wars, to be the first of a series of enjoyable PvP minigames. Three months on, we have had a chance to look at your Bounty Hunter feedback and comments, and have come up with changes that will really improve it!

For information on future PvP content and minigames, keep your eyes peeled. We have news for you in the coming weeks!

Combat Change:

First on our critical ticklist was the multiway aspect of Bounty Hunter. Occasionally, solo players would walk into Bounty Hunter and be ambushed by huge clans who they didn’t stand a chance against.

This was not what we intended to happen, therefore, we have tweaked the rules so multiway combat can only be used in certain circumstances. The aim is that going in with some friends or a clan does, of course, still give an advantage, but not to such a ridiculous extent. As such, a skilled solo player has a fighting chance as well.

So, this week, we have made Bounty Hunter single-way combat, meaning that only one player may attack another player at any time. There are two exceptions to this rule:

You are able to attack someone who is in combat if they are your Bounty Hunter target
You can be attacked when in combat if you are the Bounty Hunter target of your opponent
We would like to remind you that Bounty Hunter is a dangerous minigame, and you risk losing your items when entering the caverns.

Cash Rewards:

We have introduced another reason for being a bounty hunter: cash rewards for defeating your bounties.

Mandrith loves to reward bravery, so players who kill 10 or more bounty targets will earn cash rewards based on the market value of their combat items. This cash amount is worked out by taking only the second, third, fourth and fifth most expensive combat items you are carrying and giving you access to an amount of coins based on their value. You will have to defeat at least 10 bounty targets to receive your reward, which you can do by speaking to Mandrith.

There is a limit to the amount you can receive per 10 kills, according to the crater you entered:

Low-level crater - You may receive a reward up to a limit of 40,000gp for 10 kills
Medium-level crater - You may receive a reward up to a limit of 80,000gp for 10 kills
High-level crater - You may receive a reward up to a limit of 120,000gp for 10 kills
A summary of your kills will be given when you exit each crater. You do not have to kill all 10 players in one go - Mandrith will remember how many more kills you need for your next visit.

Bounty Locate Change and Rune Rewards:

Some of you felt that the Bounty Locate spell was only available to members and was slightly too high-level, giving the advantage to more experienced players.

Well, we have made tweaks that should make the Bounty Locate spell more accessible and affordable! Firstly, we have reduced the Magic level required to cast Bounty Locate to 32, and reduced its cost to 1 law rune, 1 air rune and 1 fire rune.

We have made the spell available to F2P, and once you have made 10 Bounty Hunter target kills, you will receive a prize of 15 law runes, 15 air runes and 15 fire runes - the number of runes required to cast 15 Bounty Locate spells!

To get a running total of how many targets you need to kill, or to receive your rune rewards, visit Mandrith outside of the Bounty Hunter volcano. You do not have to kill all 10 players in one go - Mandrith will remember how many more kills you need for your next visit.

Mandrith has decided to make some amendments to his tutorial, so you may visit him at any point to read more about the Bounty Hunter changes.

Due to the recent improvements to Bounty Hunter, it will no longer be possible for you to take Summoning scrolls, pouches or summoned familiars into the dangerous minigame. This is because familiars cannot help you fight in single-way combat areas.

Players who return to their own gravestone in time can now pick up their Recipe For Disaster gloves if they died with them.

We’ve had a few words with Ordan at the Blast Furnace about his maths skills. He was getting a bit confused but he should now quote you the correct price for the amount of ore you wish to uncert.

The bank scrolling issue has been fixed so that it will now jump to the row of your bank that you were looking at when you last opened the bank interface.
