Falador’s white stone castle

Falador is the glorious capital of Asgarnia. As it is situated at the centre of RuneScape, it sees vast numbers of visiting adventurers and traders every day. The most striking feature of Falador is the white stone from which the city is built. Every house and hovel, the castle and the walls, all of the city is constructed from this stone – remarkable in RuneScape.

Falador is officially ruled by King Vallance, though he has not been seen for many years and the practical day-to-day running of the city has fallen to Sir Amik Varze, leader of the White Knights.

Location

Map of Falador

Falador lies in the centre of both Asgarnia and of RuneScape, and as such it is relatively straightforward to find. It lies north-west of Lumbridge and Draynor Village, and directly west of the foreboding edifice of Draynor Manor. To the east, beyond the Barbarian Village and the River Lum, lies Varrock, capital of Misthalin.

To the north of Falador lies the Dwarven Mine, which can be reached both above and under the ground, by virtue of the lattice of tunnels that extends between the Mine and the Miners’ Guild in Falador. Travelling north-west from Falador, via Taverley, will bring you to Burthorpe, seat of the Crown Prince of Asgarnia and home of the Imperial Guard.

There is little directly west of Falador except the Makeover Mage, Photo Booth and Dark Wizards’ Tower.

To the south lies Port Sarim and the village of Rimmington. Also, the Clan Camp lies just outside the city’s south wall.

Though there are only two gates in Falador’s walls, there is also a broken section of wall to the west, and a tunnel beneath the walls in the south-west.

Points of Interest

Falador’s points of interest

Falador is divided quite evenly down the middle, providing the residential district in the eastern half and the commercial district (and the White Knights’ Castle) in the west. Outside the city walls to the south the massive farms of Falador provide food for the city and for any adventurers who might wish to spend some time growing their own vegetables.

The Castle itself is an impressive example of the work of the master engineers of Asgarnia. It rises high above the city to provide an unrivalled view of the White Knights’ domain, and it is surely this imposing sight that has held off invasions in times past. Should you be a member of the White Knights (by completing the Wanted! quest), you can purchase armour from Sir Vyvin. You can check what level of White Knight you are by either checking your Quest Journal under Wanted!, or by talking to Sir Vyvin. Wandering about north of the castle is a Town Crier, who is more than happy to explain the Rules of Conduct and the role of Player Moderators.

Many travelling adventurers and merchants gather in the grounds of the park, and around the city’s centre to sell their wares to other traders. If you find yourself in possession of some goods, or you need something specific, it is probable that another adventurer is there willing to buy your goods or to sell goods to you.

If you own a house, the Herald, who lives in the castle, can track down your family tree and give you a coat of arms that you can decorate your house with. He will also paint pictures to hang upon the walls of your home.

The city boasts two banks, allowing adventurers to make the most of the city’s other amenities. In the north of the city is a park, where more peaceful wanderers may like to grow a tree or spend some time looking around at the flowers, trees, ponds or the statue of Saradomin.

In the city’s south-east is an entrance to the Mining Guild, which can be entered at level 60 Mining, and the Artisan’s Workshop, which provides a variety of interesting Smithing training methods, so long as you provide your own ores.

In the north-east of the city is the Party Room, which is for partying. Obviously.

Personalities

King Vallance

King Vallance is the ruler of Falador and of Asgarnia. He has spent a good deal of his life on the throne, but in recent years seems to have retired from public life. No one has seen him quite a long time, and now Sir Amik Varze rules Falador in his place.

  Sir Amik Varze

Sir Amik Varze is the leader of the White Knights of Falador, who are a shining light of nobility and chivalry in a dangerous world. He is remarkably approachable despite the strains of ruling in King Vallance’s stead, and is more than willing to find some sort of work for eager adventurers.

Sir Amik Varze can be found in the second floor of the west tower of Falador Castle.
Sir Vyvin

As well as being a fearsome warrior, Sir Vyvin is also the White Knights’ one-eyed armourer. He is a veteran of many battles, and it is his unflinching dedication to the order of the White Knights that has earned him such a high and respected position.

  Sir Vyvin’s Squire

The Squire is a well-meaning, if forgetful, young man, hoping to one day become a fully-fledged White Knight of Falador. Like all squires, he must spend a few years yet as little more than a dogsbody, cleaning and maintaining Sir Vyvin’s armour and weapons, preparing his meals, and generally working as cook and cleaner.

Sir Vyvin can be found on the second floor of the castle, in the east wing.   Sir Vyvin’s Squire can be found in the courtyard of the White Knights’ Castle.
Sir Tiffy Cashien

This old warrior is a member of the secretive group that calls itself the Temple Knights. He speaks in a strange manner, but it is perfectly in keeping with his monocle and the ways of the Temple Knights (who, to those familiar with them, are a particularly quirky bunch).

  Wyson the Gardener

Wyson is a dedicated gardener, and always looking to improve the trees in his care. Sadly, one of his experiments involved using ‘Malignus-Mortifer’s-Super-Ultra -Flora-Growth-Potion’, which, though his trees certainly grew to enormous size, also affected the local mole population. He’s now looking for bold adventurers to keep the population of giant moles to a minimum.

Members can find Sir Tiffy Cashien sitting on a bench just inside the south entrance to the Falador Gardens.   Wyson can be found in or around the pavilion in the east of the Falador Park.
Party Pete

Party Pete runs the Party Room, so you need to talk to him to arrange anything truly exciting, like a balloon drop. He is very enthusiastic, which could easily get on your nerves if you had to spend any real length of time with him… then again, he does have one of the most amazing hairstyles in all of Asgarnia.

  Megan

Megan works at the Party Room, and her specialty is working up a sweat dancing. She’s actually quite good at it, so it’s a pity there isn’t a dedicated dance school for her to teach at.

Party Pete can be found keeping the party alive in the Party Room.   Megan can be found in the bar upstairs at the Party Room.

Quests

The following quests can be started in Falador:

  • The Knight’s Sword
  • Black Knights’ Fortress
  • Recruitment Drive (Members)
  • Wanted! (Members)
  • Quiet Before the Swarm (Members)

Defenders of the City

Dwarf (Level 10/11)

Dwarves are not often found within the boundaries of human settlements, but the Mining Guild in Falador provides an excellent reason for their presence. Dwarves are stout fighters, and their mistrust of Magic gives them some Defence against it. If you’re new to killing dwarves, melee or Ranged are preferable to Magic.

  Town Guard (Level 19/21/22)

The town guards of Falador may be numerous, and they aren’t as dangerous as the White Knights, but they can still present a challenge to unwary adventurers. They are skilled with a variety of weapons, including bows, axes, swords and crossbows. Their armour varies, but most are quite resilient to slashing attacks, and vulnerable to stabbing or Magic.

Dwarves can be found in the Mining Guild in the eastern half of Falador.   The Town Guards of Falador can be found wandering the city in a number of places, but there are usually clusters of them at the city’s north and south gates.
White Knight (Level 36/38/39/42)

The White Knights are possibly the most famous knightly order in the whole of RuneScape, and that reputation is well deserved. The Knights are formidable opponents and their armour and weapons are of the highest quality. Their ranks are denoted by the plumes on their helmet: a basic knight wears a red plume, a Proselyte wears yellow, an Acolyte wears Green, and a Partisan wears blue.

The White Knights can be found, quite obviously, in the Castle of the White Knights.

Miscellaneous

  • There is a bronze pickaxe spawn point in the Mining Guild.
  • There is a hammer spawn point upstairs in the forge just north of the castle.
  • Cooked chicken mysteriously spawns in the top floor of Cassie’s Shield Shop.
  • If you prefer your chicken raw, or are a keen fletcher, there is a chicken in the courtyard of the White Knights’ Castle.
  • Members can go hunt moles for Wyson; if you give him the moles’ claws or hides as proof of slaying the giant moles he will reward you with birds’ nests. Some of these nests may contain seeds, useful for advancing your Farming skill.
  • If you have completed Recruitment Drive, you may choose to respawn at Falador. Talk to Sir Tiffy Cashien about ‘the Gaze of Saradomin’.

TzHaar (Members)

Posted by runescape

The TzHaar city is a multicombat area and though you may think that some of its citizens make easy pickings, the larger ones will often come to their aid. For this reason, it’s a good idea to either avoid attacking anyone or to come down with friends (or you can just be supremely confident in your skills).

Introduction

TzHaar city, a little warmer than the rest of RuneScape

The TzHaar city is a very different place from the rest of RuneScape: the walls and floors are barely solid, and lava glows through the cracks; the beings that live there are themselves made of stone; their might is indisputable, yet they have no history of attacking their neighbours. Even the mightiest warriors, rangers and mages are careful when wandering the caverns of the TzHaar.

Even the currency in the city beneath the volcano is different. The stone men seems to place little value on gold, and instead favour obsidian, a black volcanic glass.

Location

A map of TzHaar City

The TzHaar city is relatively simple to reach, as it is located a very short walk from the two main docks on Karamja. To the west is Brimhaven, and the Amulet of Glory will also teleport you extremely close to the entrance.

Once you enter the dungeon you will need to find the cave entrance nearby, this is the entry point to the TzHaar city.

East, across the seas to Asgarnia, is Falador.

Points of Interest

The TzHaar City’s points of interest

The features of the TzHaar city that draw the most visitors to the city must be the Fight Pits and the Fight Cave. In the Pits, JalYt (non-TzHaar) combatants fight to be the last one standing, while in the Fight Cave adventurers attempt to survive dozens of waves of bizarre creatures for the merest chance to fight the legendary TzTok-Jad.

In TzHaar-Hur-Lek’s ore and gem store, those who have earned a particularly large amount of TokKul can purchase an uncut onyx, a highly sought-after stone.

TzHaar weaponry is also excellently crafted, and can be purchased from TzHaar-Hur-Tel.

Personalities

TzHaar-Mej-Kah

TzHaar-Mej-Kah is the guardian of the entrance to the Fight Pits, and it is he that hands out the rewards for the victor. He is responsible for the day-to-day running and maintenance of the Fight Pits, as well as making sure the viewing orbs are working properly. He is, like all TzHaar-Mej, a powerful mage and wise leader of the TzHaar.

  TzHaar-Mej-Jal

TzHaar-Mej-Jal may well be the most frequently visited TzHaar in the city. He watches over the Fight Cave and ensures that the beasts are fed, watered and enraged. If anyone could be called TzTok-Jad’s master, then it is TzHaar-Mej-Jal.

TzHaar-Mej-Kah can be found at the entrance to the TzHaar Fight Pits, in the west of the TzHaar city.   TzHaar-Mej-Jal can be found inviting wandering adventurers to test themselves against the TzHaar Fight Cave west of the main city.
TzHaar-Mej-Lor

TzHaar-Mej-Lor is one of the wisest of all TzHaar, and also one of the most interested in the ways and affairs of humans. As such, he has been charged with creating a library of human books, with the aim of providing useful texts in a simpler language than that which the TzHaar use.

  TzHaar-Hur-Brekt

The TzHaar are not widely known for their artworks (unless you consider their exceptional weapons to be works of art), but some TzHaar take great interest in more leisurely, intellectual pursuits. TzHaar-Hur-Brekt is fascinated by theatre, and could become famed across RuneScape – if he can ever get a play off the ground, that is.

TzHaar-Mej-Lor can be found in the TzHaar Library, just south of the furnace.   TzHaar-Hur-Brekt ponders the finer details of literary art in the TzHaar mines.
TzTok-Jad

TzTok-Jad is without a doubt one of the most dangerous beasts on RuneScape. Thousands of over-confident adventurers have fought their way through hundreds of terrifying beasts only to meet their end under a barrage of TzTok-Jad’s attacks. He is surely the greatest tourist attraction in the TzHaar city.

TzTok-Jad can only be found by the mightiest warriors, rangers and mages, and only in the TzHaar Fight Cave.

Quests

The following quest can be started in the TzHaar city:

  • TokTz-Ket-Dill (Members)

The Men of Stone

TzHaar-Hur (Level 74)

To say that the TzHaar-Hur are the weakest opponents in the TzHaar city says much of the TzHaar’s strength. They are powerful fighters, but are also the craftsmen in the city. They fashion weapons, armour and ornaments, as well as mining the onyx that the TzHaar value so highly.

  TzHaar-Mej (Level 103)

The TzHaar-Mej are both the leaders of the TzHaar people and powerful mages. They use the power of the rocks and the volcano to defeat their foes, but as the TzHaar are generally peaceful they do not often have to do so.

TzHaar-Hur can be found throughout the city.   TzHaar-Mej can be found throughout the city.
TzHaar-Xil (Level 133)

Even men of stone must eat, and the job of hunting their food falls to the TzHaar-Xil. They are excellent fighters, and beyond the talents of most adventurers. They are the darkest in colouring, which no doubt aids them in hunting their prey. The TzHaar enjoy preying on large mammals and rodents that, like the TzHaar, are strong enough to burrow through the hard volcanic rock.

  TzHaar-Ket (Level 149)

The TzHaar-Ket are the warriors of the TzHaar, and their massive frame shows this off admirably. They wield massive TokTz-Ket-Om and TokTz-Ket-Xil, or any of the TzHaar weapons they so choose. They are strong enough to even wield with one hand (or their four) those weapons that normal men must carry with two.

TzHaar-Xil can be found throughout the city.   TzHaar-Ket can be found throughout the TzHaar city.

Miscellaneous

  • The only currency that the TzHaar accept is TokKul, which is not tradeable and can only be gathered in the TzHaar city.
  • TzTok-Jad is one of the toughest beasts in RuneScape, and you’ll only find him in the TzHaar city. If you’re looking for a challenge, you’d best head under the volcano.
  • The Fire Cape, the only animated cape in the game and certainly the best, can only be won by defeating TzTok-Jad. If you defeat TzTok-Jad twice or more (well done!) you will receive another Fire Cape and a large quantity of TokKul.
  • Players with level 25 Dungeoneering will be able to find a mysterious entrance in the beginning areas of the TzHaar city.

The photo booth is a curious thing indeed, blurring the boundaries between the realm of RuneScape and another plane of existence known as RSOF – the RuneScape Official Forums. The wizard Iconis has been experimenting for many years to find a way to take photographic representations of RuneScape’s adventurers, so that they may show the world what they look like when sending correspondence and the like. Despite all of his research, his breakthrough came about when he crossed paths with an imp, who revealed, quite conveniently, that imps have a spell to do just this very thing! They don’t half love taking things. So, the pair of them have teamed up to open photo booths in Falador and within the walls of Daemonheim.

Points of interest near the Falador photo booth

Photo Booth

The photo booth

The Falador photo booth is located near the Makeover Mage’s house (denoted on the map by the eye-shaped icon), just through the gate to the members’ area. Iconis set up here for ease of access to a bank, a hairdresser’s and the Makeover Mage – he fully expects his customers to want to show off their best gear and favourite look, so Falador was the obvious choice. First-timers might want to have a quick chat with Iconis to better understand the wizardry behind this contraption, but having your picture taken is very straightforward.

Either right-click on Iconis and choose ‘Take-picture’ or click on the booth itself to enter. Once inside, you’ll see the below interface, which can be used just like the ‘Show Equipment Stats’ interface to try out different looks before taking a snap. Once you’re happy with your look, click on the ‘Take picture’ button and you’re done in just two shakes of a lamb’s tail.

The photo-taking interface

The photos themselves may take a little while to develop. These things take time, you know – it’s not magic! Well, okay, it is magic, but Iconis is but one man, so if the photo booth is busy, give him some time to process your images. Again, due to how popular this new contraption is, you will only be able to use the photo booth once every two hours, so make sure you’re happy with how you look before hitting the ‘Take picture’ button.

The Daemonheim photo booth acts in an indentical fashion, although you will have to build the photo booth first. In the starting room of your dungeon, right-click on the group gatestone portal and select ‘Replace’; you will then be able to construct a photo booth using no materials at all, and no Construction level requirement.

Head shot

Body shot

The Photo Booth will take two images of your character – a head shot and a full body shot. The head shot will display next to any posts you make on the forums. Iconis and his imp chum do all the work here, so it should happen automatically, but you may need to wait a short time while they clear their backlog of orders.

You can also use the following HTML (where ‘playername‘ is the name of your character) to directly link to these images on your own website, or any other site you wish to: Runescape Money.

Runescape-Chat-Effects

Posted by amber

Did you know that you could change the colors and add animations or effects to your text? I’m sure you have seen someone do this at some point in the game. A lot of times, people use this tip to draw attention to things they are selling. In any of these colors, animations, or effects, they code always goes before the message.

First, I will name the colors I know.
» Red
» Cyan
» Purple
» White
» Green
» Purple

An example would be; “red: Zammy owns you!!!” or “cyan: Saradomin Pwns you!!!”. Now I will name the effects and what they do.

glow1: Text fades red to blue.
glow2: Text fades red to purple to blue.
glow3: Text fades white to green to blue.
flash1: Text cycles red to yellow quickly.
flash2: Text cycles blue to cyan quickly.
flash3: Text cycles green to light green quickly.

Now I will name the animations;

Slide: Text slides from top to bottom.
scroll: Text scrolls right to left.
shake: Text shakes up and down.
wave: Text waves up and down.
wave2: Text waves slowly from left to right.

You could mix these together and get many different colors. Some examples would be;

Cyan: scroll: <>< <>< <>< Fishie! <>< <>< <><
Green: wave: ~~~~~~OCEAN! ~~~~~
flash3: slide: bsell 100K for all!

You can have a lot of fun with these Runescape Chat Effects. If you're bored fishing, then why not try the first or second example I put there. It gets everyone pumped up and ready to fish more! Using it for selling is also a good trick. If you have 40 people there, typing all yellow text and you put red: Selling full rune! You're going to get noticed. The idea with selling is to get the word out, and if you use a red text in an ocean of yellow, which is going to get read first, all the yellow, or the red words? The red ones of course.

I really like the scroll: animation. You can do quite a few things with it. I will name some of my favorite things for it.

The animation scroll: makes the words scroll across the screen going from left to right. Therefore, if you make things face that way, it looks like they are walking, swimming, or flying.

If you fishing, of course making a big long stream of <>< can be fun. Something like this:

<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

I like to leave a little space so that it has one last fish trailing behind the group.

I also like to make what looks like Kirby. There are many you could make of him, so let me show you them.

< (^. ^<) (>^. ^<) < (^. ^)> (>^. ^)> These are the most common. Therefore, if you were to take the first one and add some words you would get something like this:

< (^. ^<) ~KIRBY! ~

This would scroll across the screen and look awesome. There are a lot of little things you can make using text, and far too many to name. Some of the more common ones are; =), :), = (, :(, and so on. As I said, I could spend loads of hours here writing all the faces you can make using the = and : signs.

Everyday I log onto Runescape and sit in awe of what changes they have made since I started playing again a month ago. They added the Grand Exchange, added a trading limit that is based off of being able to send 3 thousand gold within a certain amount of time depending on your quest points gained. They also have added another skill among other changes. The main skill that I will be focusing on right now is Mining. Learn how to make 1 mil gold within a week. There are a number of steps that absolutely must be completed in order to make the 1 million gold the right way. First we will go over what is absolutely needed.

1.A mining level of 52.
2..A rune pickaxe
3.Patience and determination

Now we will get to how to make the gold. The process is relatively simple to follow, but seems very complex. That is because of the amount of repetitive monotonous work that is done hour after hour.

1.Walk to the mines south of Falador where the iron is.
This is the first step and is incredibly easy. In order to get to the mines, you must first go to Falador. This large city is south of the dwarven mines and Ice Mountain. Once you are at Falador, follow the path that takes you out of the city by the south gate. When you have exited the city, follow the road until it splits going west and east. Go off the path and go southwest, finally reaching the mines.

2.Locate the iron ore and start Mining.
Locating the iron is extremely easy. In this mine, the iron ore rocks are located at the very western edge of the mining area. They have purple streaks in them. This is where the monotony comes in. You must mine a full inventory worth of iron ore with your rune pickaxe. If there are others mining there too, just ignore them for now. If they are mining on a rock that you consider yours, you have two options. Either politely ask them to share and offer to take a rock while they take one, or continue to beat them to the ore with your level 52 skill. Go to the bank in Falador once you have a full inventory of iron and deposit it. Then go back to the mines and start step two over again.

BEGINNER

You should start by mining a lot of tin/copper. If you would like to bring up your smithing level as well as mining, mine the same amount of tin and copper. When your mining level is around 40 of 45, you can mine coal easily. If you start mining coal at level 30, when you unlock the option of mining coal, you will get barely any coal, because of the higher-level miners.

INTERMEDIATE

Now you can mine coal. Go to the Dwarvin mines west of Edgeville, north of Fallador. Here you should go the southeastern most point. You will see some scorpions, and some coal/gold. Mine the coal here and go up the stairs to the east and follow the people/path to get to the bank. When your mining level is 60 or higher, you can go into the mining guild, in the southern most part of the mining guild. Here it is loaded with coal, and 5 mithril rocks.

MAKING THE MONEY

Amount
Selling Price

1-100
150 each

100-1000
180 each

1k- ……
190-200 each

Now that you have a lot of coal, you can sell it. Depending on how much coal you have, you can sell it for specific amounts.

Some people sell for more, and some people sell for less. You will have to find out what price you are comfortable with.

CASHING IN

Now you should have a good amount of money, and like before, some people sell for less. This is where you cash in. Buy the low sellers’ coal. Even if it is 2 coals or something low, it will pile up. And when you spend all your money, sell those coals for a higher value. Now you could even double your money.

BANK IT

You now know how to master the market with coal. This guide is more for training for cash, and less for learning the merchanting style of getting money. Keep an eye out for my new articles coming soon: Making Money with: Fletching, Smithing, Fishing, Wood Cutting, Prayer, Runecrafting, and more!

The fifth chapter of my Runescape money making guide.

Another great way to profit is to visit various shops located within Runescape. We will touch on a few of these in this chapter. The goal is to find items in demand, or rare items.

You will want to buy common items from shops, and then resell them high to other players. If you are a member there are certain shops in Runescape that only sell items to members, and the good thing is that many of these items can be used by F2P players.

Rune Shops (F2P and Members)

This will work in any Rune shop for any level. (However, if you have access to the Magic Guild, you can literally make millions in minutes!) When you visit the rune shops you are looking for high volumes of runes that are in stock.

Mostly Death, Law, Cosmic, Chaos, Mind… any rune that is used greatly by mages. Mages rely on runes to play and gain experience. The best place I have found to sell Runes in large quantities is to visit the WizardTower and head up to the 3rd floor. On this floor is the caged Lesser De- mon, the are normally tons of mages here as this is the prime spot to level and gain magic experience for all levels

When you arrive just ask if anyone needs runes, or if they are running low. Mages hate to interrupt there training, and love it when they can find ?runners? to go get runes for them.

I personally am a mage and I actually have hired ?runners? to run back and forth from Varrock and other towns to buy runes from the shop, and I pay them 2-3 times more than they have purchased them for. This is just an example of how this can work.

Always remember to change worlds to try and sell your runes. You may also wish to take orders.

If you choose to do this, just write down what everyone wanted, (write down there username and how much of whatever runes they want- ed) Once you have this information, simply visit the rune shop purchase the runes (switch worlds to find more runes in stock.)

Tip: The more of an item in stock the less is costs. So watch the price, when it increases to high, switch worlds, over time the stock will regenerate, then you can come back and continue to buy.

Caniffs Clothes Shop (Member)

Have you ever wondered wear those colored gloves come from? Well here they are. This is another EASY way to make a quick profit. This shop houses many different colored robes, boot, and gloves. Red, Teal, Gold, Gray…

You may choose to only sell gloves, this is up to you. I always choose to buy complete outfits. (Gloves, Boots, Robes). Once you have bought what you would like to sell, log into a members world and go to the Varrock Marketplace.

Runescape Combat Calculator On many top Runescape fan sites you will notice that they provide a set of skill calculators. What are skill calculators? Basically a skill calculator tells you what level you currently are and the amount of individual items you need to carry out to get to your next level. A combat calculator will ask you for your current levels in; attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, range, magic and prayer. When it has used a calculation on these skills it will return you with your current combat level and how many levels of either of the skills you need to advance in to gain your next combat level. Combat Level Explained and Its Influence By knowing a player’s or monsters combat level you are able to tell how hard it would be to defeat them in the case of a battle. Levels that are a lot lower than yours will appear in green, levels that are a little lower than yours will show slightly more yellow, levels that are the same as yours will appear as yellow and levels higher than you range from orange to deep red. Monsters that attack you without warning will normally only stop attacking you if your combat level has equalled or is slightly/a lot higher than theirs. This is different with all monsters as some will attack you no matter what Combat level you are. If a monster is a higher level than you then you cannot just click on it to attack it, you must right click to attack it. This is for your own characters safety as you may not want to risk losing to a monster that is 80 levels higher than you and could potentially kill you in one hit. Each new player of Runescape 2 starts off as a level 3 and can reach a maximum of level 126. This differs to Runescape Classic where the maximum level is 123. Calculating Your Combat Level •Get your Prayer level, divide it by two and then round the number down. For example: If your Prayer level is 47 and you divide it by two it gives you 23.5. You then need to round this down which will give you 23. •You need to add the above result to your Defence and Hitpoints level and then divide the whole lot by 4. This is called a base combat level. For example: If your Defence level is 50, Hitpoints level is 50 and your Prayer level is 47 then you should end up with the result 36.75. •Now add your Attack and Strength levels to one another and times them by 0.325. Add this to the base combat level which is made by using methods 1 and 2. You will now have your melee combat level. •There is only real need to carry on now if your Magic or Range level is not a lot higher than your Attack and Strength levels. Use the highest level from your Magic and Range levels. Range is used in the next step. •Divide the Range level by 2 and then round down. Add your Range level to this and you are given a result. •Times this result by 0.325 and then add it to your base combat level calculated in step 2. You will now have what’s called a magic combat level. So is the above calculation absolutely 100% correct? The answer is no. No-one other than Jagex knows the exact combat calculation. This is why you will see on all fan sites, ‘This combat calculator is 99.9% correct, we are trying to produce 100% correct results.’ Jagex say that they have never ever given out the exact calculation. Easy Money from Fletching
Making Easy Runescape Money from Fletching is easier than easy! I can tell you that this is a definite road to go down. How can I tell you this? I have trained my own Fletching level up to level 99 and have made tens of millions of gold pieces by using the Fletching method alone! This is one of the best ways of making Easy Money on Runescape. Methods can be found below:

Pick Flax from the field in Seers Village and spin it on a spinning wheel to make it into a bowstring.

Fletch the best bow you can make and use High Alchemy (mentioned as a technique above) on the bow to make Easy Runescape Money.

Fletch more and more to make tons of Money in Runescape…easily!
