Changing your stats in RuneScape is no easy feat, especially if you want to do it legally. There are various programs out there that will allow you to change your RuneScape stats as well, plus there are some services that will actively play your character for you.

The Best Way of Changing Your Stats
The best way of changing your character’s stats in the magical world of RuneScape is simply to play the game. As you defeat enemies and accomplish tasks, your character will gain experience and levels. This will naturally make your character more powerful and up his or her stats.

Money making tips- If you’re a member get your crafting really high and make ruby or diamond amulets. Then get your magic lvl really high to enchant them to make strength amulets (from ruby amulets) or power amulets (from diamond amulets). Sell them to non-members because they can’t enchant and sell the 4 5-10k each. You’ll make a big profit if you do this.

If you want a lot of money (gp) and your not a high lvl at most skills here a good money making tip. First get all the money you have and buy cooked lobs for about 45gp each at the store spend all your money to get a lot of lobs. Then you note all of them and go to a world with a lot of players. Sell them all for about 200gp each keep doing this and you’ll be rich.

This is another way to make money without having high leveled skills. First complete the Rune Mysteries quest to be able to rune craft. Then get 4k rune essence or more and sell them for 90gp each. This will get you money and mining experience.

If you’re high leveled in combat go kill moss giants you will get big bones which you should store in your bank. They also drop good items like gems which you should make into rings and sell. You can also get runes and weapons and armor which you can also sell. You can get your combat level up and also get some cash. If you want you can also kill ice giants and hill giants they have big bones and drop good items too.

Go to Port Sarim and take good range, mage, or melee armor. Go to the entrance of Port Sarim and go east if your facing Port Sarim. You will find earth, air, water, and fire, wizards here. Kill them to get runes and talismans sell the runes to the rune shop close by and sell the talismans to player for 500gp each.

Go to Port Sarim’s jewelry shop and buy a lot of jewelry of what ever kind they have most of. Then go to another world and sell them if they don’t have a lot there. Keep doing this to get a ton of cash. But this may take a while so you might have to keep trying.

Go to Al-Kharid and go to the gem shop and buy a lot of uncut gems. Cut them and make them into amulets. Sell them all to get a lot of money or enchant them to make more money.

Scamming and Hacking into accounts are unfortunately very common in Runescape. The tips below will help you to protect your account from any hacking and scamming when playing.

Hacking Account

The most common way that people can hack your account is that they get your password, whether it be from key loggers, simply guessing it, or other advanced macro programs that are there today. Follow these tips to further protect your account.

•Change your password often: I try to change my password at least 2 times a week. This prevents anyone from constantly gaining access to your account.
•Be sure to set your recovery questions: This should be one of the first things that you do when you open an account. It is helpful not only for regaining access to your account if it happens to get hacked, but also in case you happen to forget it as well.
•Never give your password to anyone for any reason: Never type your password in the chat screen JAGEX does block your password from being displayed, but you could mystipe it so it will be still visible!! Trust me I’ve done it.
•Be sure to run your virus program daily to detect any viruses: Trojan Viruses often carry key loggers which can track what you are typing, including your password.
•Make your password impossible to guess! I use a password generator for this. A password generator creates a random password for you automatically, just be sure to write it down, lol.
•Use a Firewall on your computer - Using a Firewall is a great way to protect yourself from any unseen threats.
Earn 5-10 Million in Less Than 10 Minutes!

Have you ever been playing Runescape, and saw a message indicating that Run- escape will be Upgrading or performing maintenance on the game? Well this is your ticket to getting rich very quickly. The seventh chapter in my Runescape money making guide.

The following are just some simple tips & tricks to keep in mind when try to make money. Some of these tips will seem obvious, however it is still important:

•Always use a calculator! For accurate trades it is very important to keep a calculator on hand. Make sure they are selling/buying for the price they said. I personally always keep a calculator on hand. You never know when you will run into scammers!
•Start slow! Start off only selling 1 or 2 items at first. When you first start merchanting items it is important too stay focused on 1-2 items. This will- help you learn and perfect the different sale techniques for your item, whether it be iron ore, coal, feathers, or whatever else you may be selling.
•Buy starting out slow you will be able to find out what works well and what does not.
•ALWAYS DEAL IN BULK! I can’t stress this enough, this is the easiest and almost the only way to make big money. It’s simple really: The more items you have the more profit there is to be made off of that item.
•Buy low and Sell High! This is obvious right? Use the price guide to double check the prices for items you are unfamiliar with.
•Be sure to use the most updated price guide.
•PATIENCE is the key, sometimes it can take awhile to sell. This is ok, if the items won’t sell for what you are asking (and the price of the items are relevant).
•DON’T SELL CHEAP! Just keep the items in your bank, and try to sell them later. Having items in your bank is just like having money on your pocket.
•Double check all trades to avoid scams. To good to be true? Most likely is.
•Never give in on your price, if they won’t buy it then leave, don’t waste your time with them. There are always plenty of buyers!!
•Use the FORUMS! They are there for a reason. This is the easiest way to sell in bulk. The forums are also a very good way to find bargains on low priced items as well. Forums
•Switch worlds often. If you cant find any good deals, log into another world, eventually you will find them. In general you can find items for less money in the less populated worlds. The higher the population in the world the higher the prices will be
•Try different bank locations to find the items your looking to buy/sell. Example - If buying ores or bars you should try the banks in Faldor as this town has a furnace and is close to mining areas. If you are buying Rune Essence visit the East Bank in Varrock, since it is close to the Rune Essence mine.

The third chapter of my Runescape money making guide.

Ok, so you’ve made your first million of gold or so now what can you do? Well, if your like me, than I want to make more gp, lol. This chapter will show my personal little trick to turn you into a multi-millionaire in a matter of days!!

By now you should have figured out what item you personally like to sell and trade, and know the high and low prices of what this item sales for. In this next example I will tell you how I started a feather business, (I chose feathers to start with because this is how I first started making my money and I know this Runescape item (as far as how to push it) better than any other.

This plan will work with any item in the game providing that is has a generally demand. Some examples would be logs, iron, coal, steel, food items, etc. Please note that I am a member, therefore selling is a little eas ier since I can post the items I’m selling in the official Jagex Runescape Forums. F2P’s may have better results with an Iron, Coal or Steel business.

The first step in creating your Runescape business is to decide how much you are willing to pay your workers.

How I figure this price is to go by the average price that the item sales for, and pay a little above it, but still below the high (the price that you will sell the item for.) In my feather business I currently pay 6 gp per each feather. I chose 6 because the current value of feathers in the free worlds is 5 gp each.

Paying above the “street” price allows workers to receive more gp from me ( the buyer) than anyone else, (most people are offering to buy for 1-3 gp, because they do not know that you can sell them for 10 gp to members.) This keeps the sellers/workers happy and also keeps them from selling to other players.

And as you have learned in Chapter 1, feathers can sell for 10 gp each to members. (If you are a free player view the FORUMS to find buyers!) This means that I currently profit 4gp per feather, which adds up very quickly when you are multiplying by 10,000 or higher!

Establish a Payment Plan

The second step is to lay out some kind of payment plan for your workers, basically when they will receive there paycheck. I currently pay my workers once a week, every Friday (unless I will not be able to be online, for some reason.) I have created a website for my workers, so that they can check when payments will be made.

The third step is to hire workers! This may sound hard, but trust me you can find many very quickly! Everyone is looking for money.The best way to find workers is to go the Varrock Bank and simply type “Hiring Workers, Pays Well, Add me to find out details!” When a person mes- sages you then give them the info. The other spot to hire workers is of course the chicken farm (for feathers) Northeast of Lumbridge.

Runescape Combat Calculator On many top Runescape fan sites you will notice that they provide a set of skill calculators. What are skill calculators? Basically a skill calculator tells you what level you currently are and the amount of individual items you need to carry out to get to your next level. A combat calculator will ask you for your current levels in; attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, range, magic and prayer. When it has used a calculation on these skills it will return you with your current combat level and how many levels of either of the skills you need to advance in to gain your next combat level. Combat Level Explained and Its Influence By knowing a player’s or monsters combat level you are able to tell how hard it would be to defeat them in the case of a battle. Levels that are a lot lower than yours will appear in green, levels that are a little lower than yours will show slightly more yellow, levels that are the same as yours will appear as yellow and levels higher than you range from orange to deep red. Monsters that attack you without warning will normally only stop attacking you if your combat level has equalled or is slightly/a lot higher than theirs. This is different with all monsters as some will attack you no matter what Combat level you are. If a monster is a higher level than you then you cannot just click on it to attack it, you must right click to attack it. This is for your own characters safety as you may not want to risk losing to a monster that is 80 levels higher than you and could potentially kill you in one hit. Each new player of Runescape 2 starts off as a level 3 and can reach a maximum of level 126. This differs to Runescape Classic where the maximum level is 123. Calculating Your Combat Level •Get your Prayer level, divide it by two and then round the number down. For example: If your Prayer level is 47 and you divide it by two it gives you 23.5. You then need to round this down which will give you 23. •You need to add the above result to your Defence and Hitpoints level and then divide the whole lot by 4. This is called a base combat level. For example: If your Defence level is 50, Hitpoints level is 50 and your Prayer level is 47 then you should end up with the result 36.75. •Now add your Attack and Strength levels to one another and times them by 0.325. Add this to the base combat level which is made by using methods 1 and 2. You will now have your melee combat level. •There is only real need to carry on now if your Magic or Range level is not a lot higher than your Attack and Strength levels. Use the highest level from your Magic and Range levels. Range is used in the next step. •Divide the Range level by 2 and then round down. Add your Range level to this and you are given a result. •Times this result by 0.325 and then add it to your base combat level calculated in step 2. You will now have what’s called a magic combat level. So is the above calculation absolutely 100% correct? The answer is no. No-one other than Jagex knows the exact combat calculation. This is why you will see on all fan sites, ‘This combat calculator is 99.9% correct, we are trying to produce 100% correct results.’ Jagex say that they have never ever given out the exact calculation. Runescape auto bots or marcos are programs created to assist in a range of jobs in a game that would originally be in the control of the gamer they are useful tools but are considered cheating in most games and the users of these programs are frowned upon by most but still these programs are an entrenched part of any game these days.
In Runescape there are many different skills you can raise your levels in. There are also just as many macros that can assist you in raising these levels. Most Runescape players who use Runescape autos (Autobots) are as stated in the above paragraph frowned upon by the Runescape society because the use of autos is against the rules and because often the auto bots will be competing against regular playing users for precious resources.

You may find many Runescape cheating websites with autos for download, but if you’re considering using one you must be very careful on what exactly you are downloading. This is because of scammers get many unsuspecting Runescape player to download what they believed was a Runescape auto bot but in actual fact they are just downloading a key logger to scam people out of their Runescape names and password. This is where you must choose a color on the monster you wish to fight and as a program this auto choose to fight all things that have that color on them. That is where its downside is as you may have chosen a common color brown on a goblin; well the trees are also brown so the macro may choose the tree as the object to fight.

Another good/bad thing about the macros is if you have food you can make a setting to where the macros makes you eat after you are down so in health past a certain point. You may change when the macros makes you eat but you must have the food in your inventory and the auto also will allow you to set a certain amount of life for when you run out of food where it will log you out and this is good if you just won a fight but remember that the rule of you having to wait 10 seconds before you’re able to log out after a battle. So this doesn’t make it that useful in some ways.

Runescape Cruel Miner
This auto, if you haven’t guessed, is used to raise your mining level. It also involves a color system where you take the indicator and place it on the kind of rock you wish to mine. But this auto only mines the ore then drops it all, this auto does not put the ore in the bank for you. Because of this reason this macro is mainly for leveling not banking and making money.

Runescape Autotalker XPro17
This macro is actually a very useful one to have, it allows you to type something in it and add the color or scroll effects if you like and this auto will say what ever has been typed into it repeatedly until you stop it. This is a very useful way of sell items in the crowed worlds on Runescape. Though this is now probably becoming outdated considering the recent introduction of the Grand Exchange.

Scythe’s Autobuyer
This auto allows you to use another color program to buy all of a certain item of that color you have chosen, that is sold to a store. This could be another useful macro unless as stated in autofighter, it chooses from a color so you have to be careful not to use a common color for this macro other wise it could waste your hard earned money on some item you didn’t want.

Auto Clicker
This macro allows you to place it on a certain area and set how many times it will click on this area per minute. This might be useful in mining but the user would have to come back eventually to deposit or drop the ore.

Runescape Magic Cheats
This auto allows you to train your magic but only by teleporting. So in order to use this macro you need to have all the runes necessary for teleporting to the area you want. This macro is a waste I believe unless you have the cash then this is only saving you a couple of clicks you could do yourself in my honest opinion.

Mouse Recorder/Player
This is an interesting macro as it allows you to in a way create your own Auto. What this macro does is records your mouse movements until you stop it and it then repeats the movements and clicks over and over for you. I do suggest if you are using the macro do not move your camera position as it will change where the macro clicks.

S.C.A.R.
This is actually a program that allows you to create your own Autos, but in order to use this program you must first have some concept of understanding of how to create a macro. This can be a very useful program but requires a lot of knowledge as to how to create macros. You may also use other peoples macro files if you can find them, with this program.

I have only named a few autos that I found that work well or ok and have been scanned to be found as true macros and not keyloggers. There are many more macros out there that I will research more on for all macro users but I still state again that I believe is wrong to use macros and that I am against the use of them but it is obvious they are a very popular topic of discussion when it comes to Runescape.
