Can you simply tell if Runescape is a great game or not without you becoming a member? The answer to that would be, NO! Well you can make a few predictions about Runescape and see the moral of the game when being a regular user and not a member but becoming a member brings a whole lot of additions to Runescape that you would never see if you were not a member. Being a member of Runescape has so many benefits and I will try to list them all here for you. Runescape tells you them, but I’m going to detail it a few features for you here.

Members World:
However a free world may look, a members world would look to. The big difference between a members world is that is has way more places to go into. You would be amazed by how many more cities you can go to when your in a members world. Also, in these other cities allows you to do more so this is a great advantage to the Runescape lovers.

Quests:
If you certainly love quests, then becoming a member on Runescape is something you’ve got to do immediately. The amount of member quests which is available is too many account but I’m guessing that there is around 50-150 more quests to do. With all those quests in the members world, you may find yourself troubled in one quest and can’t find the solution so we are here to help!

Skills:
What good is it when you’re limited to what you can do? Instead of bring up your levels in just a few skills, you can work up and twice as much skills when your a member. You’ve got construction which you can build your own house, agility to bring up your agility in the agility course and farming. This can’t be all, there are way more skills than this. All these other skills can help you do other things when you have a good amount which will be discussed in next couple of paragraphs.

Better/Stylish Armour:
Have you ever heard of an armour called Dragon? You probably heard of it but you should actually wield it to see how it really looks and feels to where. This is not the only extra armour that you can wield. If you are a ranger or a mage person, then you can find other things that only members can wear and they look pretty good. Plus in a members world, you can have a cannon as a weapon! I can’t tell to you too much about it since it would spoil the fun so first you must become a member!

Earning Money:
When you are a member, you will find out that you can make a lot more money quicker than the people in the free world. The new cities that you can visit allows you to do much more quicker such as cut trees, mine coal and ores and a lot more. Once you’re in a members world, you will always want to stay in a members world!

Words can’t really describe what the members section really look like so you would have to take a peak at it yourself. It’s not much money to pay and it’s only around $0.17 a day. If your not over 18 and do not own a credit card, then try getting your parents or have someone who has Paypal to pay for you. There’s more payment choices that you can use to pay to become a member so if you can’t do one of those two sources, then I would look into the other payment sources.

Starting location: Chef at Lumbridge Castle. He asks you to bring an egg, milk and flour to him.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: Ability to use the range in Lumbridge Castle and 300 cooking xp.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required items: Bucket, Grain and a Pot.

Milk: Use a bucket on a cow and the bucket fills with milk. You can find a bucket at the chicken farm north of Lumbridge.
Egg: Go to the chicken farm to the north of Lumbridge and pick the egg up from where the chickens have laid.
Flour: Go north from the farm to the windmill and pick some grain from the field. Enter the windmill, go up the ladder to the top and use the grain with the hopper to make the flour. Now operate the hopper controls and go down to the bottom. Use a pot with the flour.
Chef: Take the ingredients to the chef at Lumbridge Castle and the quest is complete.

Starting location: Signpost near the pub in Canifis.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: 1000 Thievery exp. and Ring of Charos, which is used to enter the agility course south-east of Canifis.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: 25 thieving, 20 crafting, ability to defeat level 51 monster.
Required Quests: Priest in Peril and The Restless Ghost.
Required Items: 3 bronze wire, 1 silverbar, 5 spools of thread, 1 needle, spade, 50 gp, Amulet of Ghostspeak (optional: teleport runes to falador, for quick furnace use).
Monsters: Failed experiment (level 51).

Read the signpost, then head north-east of the slayer master towards the castle. Talk to the doctor and say that you’re brain-dead and that you’re good at grave digging. You’ll now have to find 4 body parts: arms, legs, torso and head.
Firstly talk to the gardener outside with your ghost speak amulet on. Ask him what happened to his head. He will follow you to the haunted woods. Keep talking to him and he’ll tell you where to go. Dig his grave to find the head.
Now head back to the castle and go upstairs. Search the bookcase in a room to the west for the book Joy Of Grave Digging and you get a marble amulet, then search the bookcase in a room to the east for the Handy Maggot Avoidance Techniques and you get an obsidian amulet. Use them with each other to make a star amulet. Leave the castle and follow the path east to a graveyard and use your star amulet on the last memorial to the east. Push the monument, follow the cave round and kill the level 51 experiment. Pick the key up and head north-west. Use your key on the gate, and then go upstairs. Dig the 3 graves to get torso, arms, and legs.

Head to the pub in Canifis and talk to Roavar. Ask him for some food and buy the pickled brain by asking for something to eat. Put the brain in the head and give all the parts to doctor. He will need a needle and 5 threads. Now he will want a conductor for lightning made of silver. Go talk to the gardener and ask for the key for the shed. Go into the little room north of the gardener and search the cupboard for a garden brush, and just outside the shed door, you will see some cane piles, pick 3 garden canes. Use bronze wire to connect the canes and the brush, you need 3 canes and 3 bronze wire.
Sweep the west fireplace on the first floor of the castle to get the conductor mould, use a silver bar on a furnace to make the conductor and take it back to the doctor. You can then go through the south doors on the first floor, up the ladder and use the conductor on the rod out there.

Go back to the doctor, he’ll tell you the monster is alive and you need to kill it, get the key from him, head back up to the first floor and use the key on the gate door up there to gain access to the monster.
The monster will tell you the truth about the doctor and ask you to take the Ring of Charos from the doctor. Go downstairs and pickpocket the doctor to complete the quest.

The Beginning section: Go to the quest start point in Bedabin camp, west part of the desert and speak to the Archaeologist. You’ll learn that he thinks there?s great treasure in the desert. He will ask you to deliver an etched note to a colleague of his. You can find the colleague in the examining hall in the south part of the digsite area. Speak to the archaeology expert and he will translate it for you. Go back to the Bedabin camp. Speak to the archaeologist again and agree to split the treasure equally (50/50).

Head south to the bandit camp and talk to the bartender. Buy a beer for 650gp, then talk to him again. Talk to him about diamonds, then talk to Elbis in the east part of the camp. Elbis tells you that he can craft some scrying glasses to help you find the diamonds. He needs 12 magic logs, 6 steel bars, 6 molten glass, 1 heap of ashes, 1 bones, 1 piece of charcoal and 1 blood rune. Give the items to him.

South and east of the camp on a small hill is Elbis, surrounded by six mirrors. Look into each of them to find the locations related to the diamonds. Four of them are true and two are false.

Diamond of Shadow section: North of Ardougne you find a man named Rasool. Speak to him and he tells you that someone has stolen a gilded cross from him and that you have to get it back. Go to the bandit camp south of where you started quest. Find a tent with a locked chest in it in the southern part of the camp. Open the chest using a lockpick and take out the gilded cross. Go back to Rasool and give him the gilded cross. He gives you the ring of visibility. Equip the ring of visibility and a trap door will appear in the fenced off area. Open the trap door and go down the ladder into Damis’ Lair. Go though the long tunnels as far to the east as you can. You will encounter level 63 shadow hounds and level 80 giant skeletons. Kill Damis (level 107) using protection prayers. Kill Damis again as he respawns in a stronger form (level 174). Pick up the Diamond of Shadow and run back out again.

Diamond of Blood section: Go to the Canifis bar, as you approach you should see a sequence where a Vampire called Malak collects blood from the bartender Rovar. He then calls you over. Tell him you are looking for the diamond and he will tell you Dessus has it. Malak tells you where he is and how to kill him. He wants you to kill Dessous so that he can own more land. Go to Draynor (glory amulet teleport is best) and go down the trap door near the jail and find the man called Ruantan living in the sewers. Give him your Silver bar and he will make it into a Silver pot. Go to Entrana with your pot and get it blessed by the high priest in the chapel. Go back to Malak, tell him you have the items and he will drain some blood for you. Crush the garlic with a pestle and mortar and add it to the blood. Also add the spice. Get weapons, armour and food and prepare for battle. Walk south from the Canifis Slayer master until you hit the swamp (just west of werewolf agility course). Walk as far south and east as possible in the myreque area. You will have to cross a bridge and will eventually come to a graveyard. Use the pot on the vampire’s grave and he attacks you. Kill him. You can attack him with ranged or a halberd from behind the fence. When he dies go back to Malak in the Canafis bar and he will give the Diamond of Blood to you.

Diamond of Ice section: Teleport to Trollheim and go north to the ice gate. Give the troll child your cake and he will tell you that his mum and dad have been frozen solid by a nasty man who claimed they stole a diamond from him. Squeeze through to the next area. You will get hit occasionally and your stats slowly drain because of the effect of the cold weather. Run until you see the frosty cave. Kill the trolls until all the icicles covering the entrance have fallen off. If using magic cast fire offensive spells to kill the trolls. Squeeze through the cave. Put prayer on and get past the big scary wolves. You feel an evil presence near and you find the ‘bad man’ called Kamil (level 154). Battle him using protection prayers while drinking restore potions and prayer potions. He drops a super restore potion and two chocolate cakes when he dies. Keep walking, forward and spiral around the mountain. Walk until you see an icy trail. Put on the spiked boots. Start up the slippery path. After you have crossed the bridge you will find two frozen trolls, these are the parents of the troll child. Smash the ice to set them free. Teleport back to Trollheim and go to the child again. He gives you the Diamond of Ice.

Diamond of Smoke section: Go south and east of the Bandit camp until you reach the smoking well located south east of the desert mining camp. Make sure you are wearing your face mask. Climb down the well. Walk to the far north east of the cave. Light the north east torch with your tinderbox. Then light the south east one. Then the north west torch, and finally the south west torch. When all four torches are lit you get a message saying you should claim your key. Run to the middle of the west section in a large square room with fire giants. Open the chest in the middle of the room before any of the torches go out to find a key. Run back to the east part of the cave, you will see a gate. Open it with your new key. A fire demon named Fareed (level 167) will appear. He will make you drop your weapon if you are not wearing your ice gloves during battle. He attacks with Melee and Magic. Turn on your prayer and start fighting. When the demon dies teleport or run back out.

Pyramid section: Go back to Elbis and talk to him. Go to the Pyramid south east of Elbis. Use the four Diamonds on the four Obelisks surrounding it. The colour of each obelisk will show which diamond to use with it. The pyramid is now open. Run through the pyramid and you will encounter scarabs (level 92) and mummies (level 103). There are also random pits that can appear and you will fall through and end up outside again. When you reach the bottom level chamber, the spirit of Azzanadra will appear. Speak to it. This completes the quest.

Starting location: East of Varrock there will be a path heading south, follow it until you come along a gate. Go through the gate and into the building ahead. Talk to the Examiner to start the quest.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: 2,000 Herblore exp, 15,300 Mining exp and 2 gold bars. You will also get either a chocolate cake or something to drink.

Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 25 thieving, 10 agility and 10 herblore.
Required Items: A cup of tea (which can be bought near east Varrock bank for 10gp or you can steal it from the stall), a pair of boots & gloves, pestle and mortar, empty vial and a tinderbox.

Method 1: Go to Rimmington, then go to the room where two logs respawn. Go in it, close the door, then wait until the little level 2 rats respawn there. Kill them until you reach level 5, then go back to Lumbridge. Go to the room with goblins in it. Close the door and wait until they respawn. Kill them and level up to about level 10. Then, go to Varrok and kill any level 9 men and level 10 muggers until you level up five more times. Then, go to the Wizard Tower to level up to level 20. Continue with the higher five levels each time until you are at level 40.

Method 2: An easy way to level up in your ranger level is to go to Port Sarim. Go inside the jail. Note: You will not be able to get your undamaged arrows again — bring a lot of them. Shoot at the goblin first until you gain some levels, then kill the mugger followed by the thief, black knight, and other prisoners. You will level quickly. Another place of interest for rangers is the wizard tower. Go down the stairs until you cannot proceed further. Look for the lesser daemon that is caged up. Note: Once again, you cannot get your arrows back. Also, beware of the level 25 dark wizard with a beard who will attack you.

Method 3: You can level your attack level (not strength) up to 8 at the Varrok training center (the one with five dummies in it) next to the east smithing area.

Method 4: Go to the hut in which you talk to the ancient Gnome. Attack the level 47 Jungle Spiders. These give more experience than level 56 Knights or level 79 Lessers.

Method 5: A good training location is the third floor in the black knight castle. There are non-aggressive black knights respawning there, and an Altar. To get in, first make sure you have a medium Bronze Helmet and an Iron Chain Mail. Then, go to world one and enter the fortress. Go through both doors so that you are in the black knight meeting hall. It has three long tables. Then, go through the door (not the one you just came in from). The reason this is done in world one is because people are attacking the black knights and they will not stop you from going in the door. Once you get through the door, log out and go to a less crowded world. Then, go up the stairs to the second floor, then up the ladder to the third floor. If you have a high enough Pray level, put on Rapid Heal; whenever you are low on Pray points recharge at the altar. Another benefit of training here is that if you are very low on HP and do not have food, leave and to the monastery; then repeat the process to get back in.

Method 6: An easy way to get your attack to any desired level is at Varrock. Go to the dummies by the museum. Hit the dummies until your attack level is 8. Once at 8, you will no longer be allowed to hit the dummies. Drink beer until your attack is 0 then keep hitting the dummies. Once your attack returns to 8 or more, repeat by drinking the beer. Note: The dummies only give 5 experience points for every hit.

Method 7: Go to Falador and get a Sleeping Bag, any kind of Pickaxe, and a Hammer. Go north to the mine. Stay there until you are satisfied with your mining level. Then go to Falador and smelt the ore. Go to Doric’s house and smith the ore. Repeat this to gain higher mining and smithing levels.

Method 8: For faster fletching levels (members only), go to the Gnome stronghold and cut oak trees. Oaks can be cut very fast. Make oak long bows, but do not string them. You will gain wood cutting and fletching experience quickly. Then, sell the bows to the general store for 8 gp each. You should get about 1,000 gp for every three to four hundred bows.

Method 9: A easy way to make money is to mine, smith, and cut trees like yews. Train all three of those skills to make hundreds of thousands with a level 3 character.

Method 10: This trick is for members only. Do the Plague City and Biohazard quests. After finishing the Biohazard quest, you can use King Lutha’s training grounds. To attack the ogres there you must get a halberd, range, or mage. With the halberd you can gain lots of combat levels in about an hour.

Method 11: You cannot die on the Tutorial Island. You will go down to one health, but you will not die. Stay down there to get your stats up to level 3.

Method 12: Go to Goblin Village (north of Falador) and go to a world with almost nobody in it (try when at night). Kill the Goblins to gain levels. Also, to win, use attack levels: accurate or controlled; strength levels: aggressive; and defense levels: defensive block.

Method 13: If you are a member, go to Seers village (west of White Wolf Mountain). Below the checkered room will be a field of Flax (the west field). Pick Flax and put it in your bank in Seers Village. Repeat this until you have about 500 to 1,000 Flax. You can sell Flax in that bank for 100 gp. If you want more money (with 12 Crafting), there are two buildings below and to the left of the bank. Take the Flax to the top floor of the southern building and use the spinning wheel. Spin the Flax into Bow Strings and sell them for 150 to 200 gp. You will also get a some crafting experience for spinning flax.

Method 1: An easy way to get good mining skills is to go to the mining field by the place where the Champions Guild is located. Mine some ore, then go back to where you start after the tutorial. There is a furnace there. Melt it and return to the city to the smithy. Very soon, you will be able to mine more things then enter the dwarves mines and join the miners guild.

Method 2: Save all the ores that you mine. Mine until your mining is at level 15. Mine Iron until your mining reaches level 30. Mine Coal until your mining reaches level 40. Mine Gold Ore until your mining is at level 55. Mine Mithril Ore until your mining reaches level 70. Mine Adamite Ore until your mining is level 85. Find the Rune rock and mine Runeite Ore until your mining is level 99. That is the highest level you can get to.

Fishing is the basis for all runescape money made via skills. Many will disagree, but this is my belief. With 99 fishing, one can aquire 99 cooking and much gold. With a time investment, you can achieve anything in runescape with 99 fishing.

NOTE: The calculation of these levels is rough. It all depends on how many you fish you burn, how many salmon you get compared to trout, ect, ect. There is a hidden meaning to this guide though.

THERE IS 1 GOLDEN RULE. SAVE EVERYTHING. Most of the beginning fish will be saved to gain valuable cooking exp which will save much time and money in the future! Save everything! Including those 39 shrimp from level 1-5!

Lets start off with level 1- 0exp shall we?

Levels 1-5= Shrimp with a small net. No brainer. I recommend south of Al Kharid Bank as there is a bank very close, and as I say above, you must save everything. You must fish 39 shrimp.

Levels 6-25= Sardines bait fishing with a fishing rod and some bait. Fairly annoying task. 39 Sardines to level 10, at which you will catch 223 Herring using the same method. Probably will be more of a mix between the herring and sardines once you hit level 10. either way it’ll be around that number.

26-55= Fly fishing is a must here. I strongly reccommend barbarian village and banking your fish at the edgeville bank to the north. To reach 30 for salmon you’ll need 111 trout. After that, you’ll need about 3k feathers to be safe. odds are you’ll only use like 2.5k of them but you’ll be catching a mixture between 2.2k salmon and 3k trout.

56-90= If you want levels and you want them fast, then the only way to go here is LOBSTERS!!! Head down to Catherby and fish lobsters to 68. At 68 you’ll make your move to your new perminate home! THE FISHING GUILD!! Where you’ll be spending what seems like eternity for the next few weeks. Continue lobsters at the guild until 90. 57,553 lobsters for this baby. GOOD NEWS! When you cook all those, and the stuff before, you’ll be around 92 cooking.

91-99= In order to finish off this hellish quest you need sharks from 91-99. Only way to do it. I wouldnt suggest sharks before this as the loads take too long and you get more exp faster with lobsters. 69,892 shark. Have fun. GOOD NEWS THOUGH! Once you cook some of those, you now have 99 cooking. And 99 fishing. Congrats. More good news! For level 99 cooking you’ll only need around 29k of those sharks, so that leaves you with around 41k sharks left to sell! If you get 900ea for these (easy to sell for 900ea), you now have 36.9mil to use up.

LETS GO GET 99 FIREMAKING EY? EASY LEVEL 99 AND A REALLY COOL CAPE!

Same as before, start level 1, 0 exp

Levels 1-15= Get off your bum and go cut some regular trees down. Merry christmas, you now have lvl 15 fm. 61 normal logs.

16-30= Same as before, go out and cut 183 oak logs and burn them.

31-45= 535 Willow logs this time. If you have a bit of work ethic in your body go cut them yourself. If not, who cares? You have 36.9mil to use up. Go buy em or something.

46-60= Go buy 1,573 Maple logs. Not like it’s gunna burn a hole in your wallet or anything….

61-99= Your home free buddy. Go buy 63,016 yew logs for 290ea NO MORE OR CASTRATE THOSE NOOB MERCHANTS WHO PUSHED THE PRICE! Ahem….uhm yes.. go get 63,016 yew logs for 290ea costing you 18.75mil.

Congrats you have 99 Fishing, Cooking, and Firemaking and 18.15mil left. Go buy yourself a pretty hat or something.

The real reason of this guide is not to show you how to get easy 99’s. Partially because there are no easy 99’s. It was to show you what the power of a little bit of work ethic can do. If you do this, you’ve been through hell and back and you can tell people what you’ve done while they stare in amazement at your capes and your work ethic. Everyone benifits. We love Runescape. It’s a great game and there’s always so much to do. Previously, and in the future, we’ll write about so many tips and tricks that you’ll be a world-wide renowned player if you follow them all. However, there are people out there who are too lazy to do the work for themselves. Some of you reading this article may have had your Runescape account stolen by hackers and thieves. If you’re ever asked to participate in helping to steal Runescape passwords, please report it to Jagex immediately. There’s no fun in getting accounts illegally, and it’s morally wrong. Also, you could be liable for legal action if you do so.

We have to protect our accounts from these hacking teams, so our team went undercover into one of these password-stealing scams. We found out the top ways that they work, and we’re going to list some ways you can protect yourself. Some of these things are obvious, others, not so much…

1.) Don’t ever tell someone your password. Nobody. Jagex will never ask for your password. Remember, they have your password already on their server, so why would they need to ask? The only person who would ask is someone stealing accounts.

2.) Your account will never be locked in 24 hours if you don’t provide your password. Trust us. If RuneScape wants to ban you, they won’t wait 24 hours.

3.) Only login to Runescape on the official RuneScape site. The official site is www.runescape.com Never follow a link to the site, because links can easily be faked by anyone. Check the address bar every time you play. Also, you should manually type in the URL in the address bar when you do play.

4.) Get an anti-virus software, even a free one. Not only will this protect your account, it’ll protect your computer. We recommend AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition.

5.) Get an anti-spyware program, even if it is free. We recommend Lavasoft Ad-Aware Free Edition. The reason for this is that hackers can use spyware to see what you type as your password on your computer.

6.) Get keylogger protection. Lavasoft does this, but if you can get a special program for preventing keyloggers, your PC will be a lot safer.

7.) Don’t go for scams that say that they will give you tons of free items, or free gold. Don’t go for the email scams either. Let’s review the e-mail scam in detail. Here’s what an uninformed Runescape player might do.

You visit a website that says that they can get you tons of free gold and items at no risk at all. Of course, you check the site out.
The site says that JagEx or Runescape has a vulnerability in their email system. By emailing a certain email address that, of course, belongs to JagEx, you’ll get some gold, or items, or someone else’s account password.
All you have to do to get that free stuff is to send an email to that email address, or fill out a form on a website with some information. This email or form ALWAYS contains your username and password, and maybe it contains how much gold you want, or which items you want, or the person’s account name whose password you want. There are slight variations on this scam.
After you email the information, you’ll get the stuff in your account that you requested.
Here’s what’s really happening. When you fill out the form or send the email, you’re actually sending it to a scammer. The scammer will then collect the data as fast as possible, and log in to your account! Then, they’ll proceed to empty it completely of anything valuable. If you have a high level character, they might change the email and password that the account is registered to, and start to play under your account. Boom. You have no proof that that was your account to begin with, and all your hard work is gone.

Question: But the email that I’m sending to looks really official. Its something like jagex@yahoo.com. Of course this isn’t a scam.

Answer: DEAD WRONG! First of all, JagEx employees’ emails always are like abcde@runescape.com or abcde@jagex.com. (By the way, if you receive an email from someone pretending to be a part of RuneScape staff, ignore it and forward it to abuse@jagex.com. These types of emails are fake, because the “sender” line has been compromised, something that’s easy to do. ) The JagEx mail server is only on these domains, so there’s no way that these’ll work. In fact, the scammers register official looking email addresses to fool you. Don’t fall for it.

Remember to stay safe while playing the game. Don’t waste all your hard work by falling for one of these silly tricks. Good Luck!

The Ring Of Charos (a) is obtained during the Garden of Tranquility quest, and is used to persuade many NPCs across the land to do your bidding. It is members only, and only works on a members world. If you somehow lose your ring, just pickpocket it again from Fenkenstrain in his castle in Morytania (it will still be a Ring Of Charos (a) of course).

During the quest Rat Catchers you can get a discount in your music lesson for the pipe.

During the Rat Catchers quest, you can immediately persuade the Sanke Charmer in Pollnivneach to tell you how to drown hundreds of rats just with music for only 50gp, instead of using a long time trying to convince him to tell you for 100gp.

Keldagrim

At the dwarven forge, you can get a discount for using the forge if your smithing is under level 60 (was 2500g, with the ring it’s 1250g for 10 minutes of usage).

Discounts on the cart rides in and out of Keldagrim (75g to and from Ice Mountain underpass, 50g to and from White Wolf Mountain underpass).

At the main entrance to Keldagrim, there are two boatmen who charge 2g to cross the river to the mining site. With the ring, its free passage!

The boatman transporting gold to the bank from the Between a Rock quest gold mine normally charges a fee of 6 ores per full inventory of gold. With the ring, he only charges 3.

In RuneScape, there are many different types of capes and cloaks. This guide will explain about the different kind of capes and cloaks around RuneScape, the stats they give, and where and how they are obtained.

Freeplay Capes

Normal Capes

First off, these capes are the basic kind of cape around RuneScape, the only capes accessible to freeplay. These can be dyed into six different colors:

Blue
Red
Yellow
Purple
Orange
Green
The original cape which you can dye is black. You can obtain the black cape from killing Highwaymen. Then dye them by going to Aggie, located in Draynor Village to get the dyes. She will tell you how to make them.

Stats: Defense: Slash+1, Crush+1, Range+2.

Wilderness Team Capes

The capes you see here, are mostly for clans. Wilderness capes range from cape #1-50. When worn in the wilderness, other players who wear the same cape as you cannot be attacked, so if you’re in a clan, no “accidents” will happen. When another player is wearing the same wilderness cape, their dot on your mini-map is blue. You buy these capes in different ranges of wilderness off merchants, say for example, you buy something of merchant 8, all his capes have 8 in them, so he sells cape 8, cape 18, 28, etc.

The capes come in 5 different colors:

pink or purple
gold
blue
green
red

Member Capes

Fremennik Capes

These capes are a bit more stylish than the first ones mentioned above. They come in a wider range of colors and are more bright. These capes come from Rellekka, found in the Fremennik Province located just north of Seers Village. When you’ve completed the Fremennik Trials Quest, Fremenniks may buy these capes from the shop for 325 gp. They come in:

Cyan
Red
Brown
Green
Gold
Gray
Pink
Purple
Black
Lavender
Blue
Stats: Attack: Defense: Slash+1, Crush+1, Range+2.

God Capes

The god capes represent the three main gods of runescape: Saradomin, Zamorak, and Guthix. To get these capes, you must have 60 magic. Then go to the Wilderness Mage Arena and defeat Kolodian to obtain it. When you have picked which cape you want, you will get a god staff with it, either it being Saradomin, Zamorak, or Guthix. However, if you do so die or drop the cape, you must return to the wilderness mage arena and pray at the god statue to obtain it again.

Stats: Attack: Magic+10, Range+0. Defense: Slash:+1, stab+1, crush+2, magic+10.

TzHaar Capes

These capes are located under the hot volcano on Karamja. The best capes in the whole game are located here, even a cape that moves, yes that’s right, a cape that is animated! Do you have what it takes to get these capes?

Obsidian Cape:

The Obsidian cape is one of the newest capes in the game and the second best. The obsidian cape may look a lot like the zamorak god cape, but this is even better. It can be bought at TzHaar city for 90,000 TokKul and also can be obtained by killing the level 133 TzHaar-Xil or the level 149 TzHaar-Ket.

Stats: Defense: Slash+9, Stab+9, Crush+9, Magic+9, Range+9.

Fire (Lava) Cape:

Yes, the moment of truth. This is the one and only cape in the entire game of RuneScape that is animated while playing. Not to mention it’s the cape that gives the best stats in all of RuneScape too. Getting this cape is not an easy task; many have tried but only a few came out alive. To get this wonderful cape, you must defeat the TzHaar Fight Caves Mini-Game.

Stats: Attack: Slash+1, Stab+1, Crush+1, Magic+1, Range+1. Defense: Slash+11, Stab+11, crush+11, magic+11, range+11. Strength+4. Prayer+2

Legends Cape

This is the only white cape in the whole game. This Legends Cape is the third best cape in RuneScape. To get this cape, you have to finish the Legends Quest to obtain it. You buy it at the Legends Guild store for 675gp. So when you finish the quest, go and buy yourself the only white cape in the game and wear it with pride and honor. These cost a lot less than the Obsidian Cape and only give 2 less bonus points than the Obsidian Cape so just use your money on this instead, unless you want to show off your wealth.

Stats: Stats: Defense: Slash+7, Stab+7, Crush+7, Magic+7, Range+7.

Castle Wars Cloaks

These cloaks are yet again to represent the gods of RuneScape, but this time only Saradomin and Zamorak. They are bought at the Castle Wars Mini-Game shop for 10 Castle Wars Tickets. When playing then game Castle Wars, you will have the same thing except it is attached with a hood.

Stats: Defense: Slash+1, Crush+1, Magic+0, Range+2.

Ghostly Cloak

This cloak can be obtained if you have gotten to a certain stage in the Desert Treasure Quest or have completed it. As the name says, it’s like being a ghost while you’re wearing it: you are transparent and you can see through yourself. Along with this, there is also a full set of this ghostly material along with hood,robe, robe bottom, gloves, boots, and the cape itself. Stats: Attack: Magic+5. Defense: Magic+5.

Mourner’s Cloak

This cloak is obtained while doing the quest Morning’s End - Part One. It goes along with the mourner suit. It gives no added equipment bonuses.

H.A.M. Cloak

No, not the meat ham! This is the Humans Against Monsters cult in RuneScape. This can be obtained by pickpocketing a H.A.M. member or by killing them. Wearing this cloak will give you a better chance to pickpocket a H.A.M. member.

Stats: Attack: Slash+0, stab+0, crush+0, magic+0, range+0. Defense: Slash+1, Stab+0, crush+1, magic+0, range+2.

Hunter Capes

These capes are a reward from the falconry when hunting there. The spotted cape needs 2 spotted kebbit furs and 400gp to make and you must have lvl 40 hunter to wear it. While wearing it your weight is decreased by 2-3kg. The spottier cape needs 2 dashing kebbit furs and 800gp to make and you must have lvl 66 hunter to wear it. While wearing it your weight is decreased by 4-5kg.
