This thread is not a help thread with solving clues so do NOT post questions regarding clue scroll problems

If you are having trouble getting a clue to drop try using the “Search” function to make sure one’s not forgotten in your bank

For easier cluing make sure you have the requirements for some of the higher level clues (example 68 fishing and 66 magic to enter the respective guilds)

Want to find a clue but unsure what to kill? Try taking a few slayer tasks as you can get some good rewards besides clue drops from them as well

Clues can have varying requirements from high combat skills to high fishing to high level quest completions for successful cluing you have to be ready for lots of various requirements

Sick of searching your bank for that adamant 2h? Need a mithril full helm to complete your clue scroll? Try devoting a tab in your bank to items used to solve emote and coordinate clue scrolls.

A high crafting/smithing level can help you make about 90% of items you’ll need to wear for emote clues

The clue’s reward is decided when you get it not how fast you complete it if you’re stuck don’t feel you have to drop it right away it could turn out to be something really good

If you’ve just solved a hard clue try writing down the solution it can come in handy later if you get the same clue again

A good rule of thumb is the higher the clue’s level the greater the risks so plan accordingly

Useful tips from other players

If you do not want to be named simply at the end of your post put “anonymous” and I will not post your name in this section

-use armor you don’t care about if you lose it, especially for wildy clues (alternative, wear ring of life, save the clue!)
-bring tele runes for every possible location you have the lvl for (bring multiple casts as you may go back and forth)
-ring of dueling, games necklace, and even slayer ring can help you get to where you need to go
-bring a few doses of anti poison and super energy, never know when they’ll come in handy (wildy)
