How to not have your Runescape account hacked
Basically there are some very simple rules you can apply to avoid having your Runescape account hacked. Firstly and foremost don’t give your Runescape password out to anyone, ever! It’s quite a simple rule yet it is amazing just how many times people give out the Runescape password and a couple of days later are complaining they got their Runescape account hacked. Next step is don’t download Runescape hacks. Why? Because so often these Runescape hacks are just Trojans and key loggers that are not designed to hack anyone else accounts other than your own. The same goes for thinking like Runescape auto miners and auto fighters; they so often just key loggers. Next step is not to use your Runescape password anywhere other than on the official Runescape site, whilst many other sites will encrypt your password on the rare occasion there has been cases where people have collected user’s passwords via sites like forums and clans etc. Next step after keeping your Runescape password private is to make it reasonable in length, at least 8 characters comprised of both numbers and letters to make it as difficult as possible for those that do try and decrypt your password. Short passwords that are encrypted and are not made up of at least 8 characters tend to be quite easy to break with time. So the longer your Runescape password is, and other passwords for that matter, the harder it is for hackers to hack your accounts.

Runescape Password Hacks / Tricks
One of the most common scams you will see on websites, forums and even in Runescape itself is the oldest scam in the book – the Runescape password hack. Basically the password hacker will say something like “if you give me your Runescape password I’ll deposit millions of gold and a couple of party hats into your account”. Of course all that will happen is you will give that hacker your username and password and they will take all your items out of your bank and deposit them into their own. If you are lucky you will get your account back – but that will be if your lucky. So don’t fall for the Runescape password hack / trick and just remember that you should never give out your Runescape password that is just asking for someone to hack your Runescape account.

The peasants of Burgh De Rott are nervous. With no champions to defend them, it is only a matter of time before the Vampyres bleed them dry and leave them to disappear into the swamps. Will you allow the persecution to continue? Can you sit by as the Myreque, damaged from their last struggle from the previous quest: In Search of the Myreque, try in vain to stem the tide?
——————————————————————————–
Part 1:
A Headquarters FoundStep 1
Speak to Veliaf.
Head to Burgh De Rott.
Speak to Villager.
Despoit food in chest.
Talk to Villager.Items needed: Silver Sickle(b), Spade, 3 Tinderboxes (Noted), 10 Bronze Axes (Noted), Nails, 1 piece of Food (more in case it gets rotted by Ghasts).
To begin the quest speak to Veliaf in the Myreque Dungeon Shortcut. You get there by using the trapdoor (Picture) behind the pub in Canifis. Veliaf is where you last left him from In Search Of the Myreque, in the hidden cave. Ask him about joining his group. He will give a long history of Morytania. He will eventually direct you to Burgh de Rott and check out the town as a site to relocate of the group.
Head to Burgh de Rott. The village is to the South of Mort’ton, so just take the boat through the swamp to Mort’ton. Head south and you will see a new bridge. Cross the bridge and approach the gate (Picture). Speak to one of the villagers, then deposit some food in the chest (Picture). You will then be given access to the village.
Next talk to any of the villager. Eventually, they will tell you that the old inn (pub) would make a good location for a hideout. However you’ll need to clear the way to the cellar first.
Part 2:
A Village RebornStep 2
Go to Pub.
Use Pickaxe on Rubble.
Climb down Trapdoor.
Talk to another Village.
Speak with Aurel.Items needed: Pickaxe (obtained in City), Bucket (obtained in City), Pot (obtained in City), 6 Planks, Nails, Hammer, Silver Sickle(b), Spade, 3 Tinderboxes (Noted), 10 Bronze Axes (Noted).
There is a pickaxe spawn is east of the village, North-East of the furnace near the Vampyre Juvenates, though beware of the Vyrewatchs (103-130). This part will go a lot faster if you have 5 buckets in your inventory. There is a bucket spawn by the well and a pot spawn is found on the upper floor of the building to the West of the pub.
Head to the pub. Climb over the broken wall and use your pickaxe on the rubble covering the trap door (Picture). Then go down into the cellar and clear the rubble there. To do this, you will need a pickaxe, bucket, pot, and about 7 free inventory spaces. Use your pickaxe on a pile of rubble (Picture), then use a pot (Picture) and this will put the rubble into a bucket. While clearing you will find a tattered note, a bit of plaster, various types nails, rocks and broken glass. You can drop the rock and glass.
Once the buckets are full of rubble, go upstairs and use it on the pile of rubble to the South of the pub. In total you will need to clear 15 piles. When you have cleared all the rubble, you will see a short cut scene that points you to a plaque on the north wall (Picture). Talk to another villager to get your next task.
When talking to the villager, say you want to help the city. He will tell you to go talk to the general store owner, Aurel, and help him fix his building. Speak with Aurel and he will ask you to fix the roof and walls. Get several planks out of the bank then go up the ladder to get on the roof, and use a plank with the hole to fix it (Picture). Go down, and use a plank with the hole on the front wall to fix it.
Head to Mort’ton before this step and buy your planks. You can also buy a hammer here.
Note: You must have completed Shades of Mort’ton quest in order to use the General store.
Step 3
Talk to Aurel.
Stock Aurel’s Store.
Talk to Villager when the shop is open.
Repair the Bank.
Recruit a Banker.Items needed: 3 Tinderboxes, 10 Snails or 10 Mackerel, 10 Bronze Axes, 6 Planks, 20 Nails, 1 Swamp Paste.
After you repair the store, Aurel wants it stocked. He asks you to get 3 tinderboxes, either 10 snails or 10 Mackerel, and 10 bronze axes. He gives you a crate to put all of these items in. If you were assigned mackerel, there is a fishing spot located to the South of town. The best place to kill snails is just to the West of Mort’ton as there are no Ghasts there. Use the items with the crate until it is full. Once the shop is open for business, you’ll be able to talk to the villagers and get the next task.
If you brought your items noted, head to the general store in Mort’ton to un-note them and to buy your tinderboxes. While you are there pick up the planks and swamp paste you will for the next part. Bob, in Lumbridge stocks 10 bronze axes.
If you ask Aurel what you can do to help, he will send you to the bank. Talk to the Cornelius and then repair the bank. You have to first repair the bank booth with 2 planks, 1 swamp paste, and 8 nails. Then you need to repair the hole in the outside wall on the west side using 3 planks and 12 nails. When this is done talk to Cornelius again, and he will say you need to recruit someone to be banker. Ask him if he wants the job and he will accept. The bank is now open.
You no longer need any nails, plank, swamp paste, or pots. You can store these or discard any extras.
Step 4
Talk to a Villager.
Go to the Furnace.
Search the Furnace.
Repair the Furnace.
Go to the General Store.
Fight 3 Monsters.
Speak with Veliaf.Items needed: 2 Steel Bars, Hammer, 1 Coal, Tinderbox, Silver Sickle(b), Armour, Food.
After you are finished with the bank, ask a villager what you can do to help. He will tell you the furnace needs to be repaired. You will need 2 steel bars, a hammer, a lump of coal, and a tinderbox. Head over to the furnace on the East edge of the village. Search it and you’ll find that the chimney is broken. Use the steel bars with the chimney to repair it. Once it is repaired, place your coal in the furnace, and light the coal with a tinderbox.
At this point there is a cut scene. Gadderanks, one of Lord Drakan’s blood tithe collectors, is apparently out of villagers to drain, but Vanstrom Klause notices the smoke from the furnace you just lit, and sends Gadderanks to Burgh de Rott (Picture).
Be sure to get your blessed silver sickle as only blessed silver weapons can harm vampyres and whatever armour you may need prior to heading to the general store. The fight is not too difficult.
Head over to the General Store and you will find Gadderanks there. Talk to the villager inside and he will say that he is giving them his blood. Gadderanks will tell you that you cannot stop him and he will attack you. You will have to kill Gadderanks, and then two level 54 Vampyre Juvenate assistants using your Silver Sickle (b). The Vampyre Juvenates will try to protect him, remember to equip the sickle against them. They actually will not die, but will turn into mist and disappear (Picture). While you are attacking the Vampyres, Veliaf will appear and help you killing them.
After the Vampyres are dead speak with Gadderanks who is dying, and he will tell you the ingredients to make the new Guthix balance potion. Next speak with Veliaf, who will give you Gadderanks’ warhammer.
Part 3:
The Myreque’s RelocationStep 5
Speak to Veliaf.
Go to the Original Hideout.
Speak to 2 Myreque members & escort Ivan.Items needed: At least 10GP (for the boat ride), Weapon (Silver Sickle(b)), Armour, Food, Steel Armour (for Ivan), 15 Cooked Stew, Salmon, Slimy Eel and/or Snail (for Ivan).
Speak to Veliaf to see what you need to now do. He will ask your help in moving the Myreque to Burgh de Rott. You need to meet him in the original hideout. Go back to where the quest started and speak to Veliaf there again and he’ll ask you to speak to two of the other Myreque and tell them to go to the Inn and then to escort Ivan to the safety in the Temple on the Salve.
You may want to equip yourself at the bank before heading out. Remember 10 coins for the boat ride back through the swamp if you fail (or free if you’re wearing your Ring of Chaos(a)). It is advised to offer Ivan 15 Salmon, stews, slimey eels or slugs to carry on the journey and to hand him a steel med helm, steel chainbody, and steel platelegs. Escourting Ivan without preparing him can be difficult.
When escorting Ivan, you can choose one of 2 paths. Both have the chance of getting attack by Vampyres on the way. The shorter route has only 2 Vampyres, but of higher level (Picture). The longer route has 4 Vampyres, but they are of lower level (Picture).
You will need to kill the Vampyres to continue (Picture). You just have to go back to the quest starting point and speak to Ivan again to try again if you “fail” to escort him to the Temple. It is possible to cast entangles on the Vampyres and hold them so that you can kill them one at a time.
Step 6
Speak to Drezel.
Open the Bookcases.
Read the Books there.
Go to the Original Hideout Entrance.
Enter the Boarded up Cave Wall.
Use Soft Clay on the Tomb.Items needed: Key from Drezel, Book: The Sleeping Seven (obtained during Quest), Hammer, Soft Clay.
Once you get to the temple on the Salve with Ivan, go through and speak to Drezel about Ivandis. Hassle him until he gives you a key and then use this key on the keyhole in the shelves on the Eastern wall. This opens a trap door to a library. Climb down there go to the South end of the library and search the bookcases and read the books there.
The book “The Sleeping Seven” details where the tomb of Iscari is. The Sleeping Seven can be found in the western bookcase of the ones situated in the middle of the room (Picture).
The tomb of Iscari is in the short cut to the South of the Inn in Canifis. Once again, use the trap door behind the pub (Picture) in Canifis. Use a hammer on the boarded up cave wall on the East wall just after entering the tunnel from the room below the trap door (Picture).
In this cave you will find a tomb with a staff embedded in the top of it. Use soft clay on the tomb to get an impression of the staff and make a mould.
Part 4:
The Rod of IvandisStep 7
Go to a Furnace.
Create the Staff.
Enchant the Staff.
Lower the staff into the well.
Go to the Basement in Burgh De Rott.Items needed: Sapphire, Mithril Bar, Silver Bar, Level 1 Enchant Runes (1 Cosmic, 1 Water), Rope.
Go to a furnace and take with you a sapphire, bar of mithril and bar of silver and use one of the bars on the furnace to make the staff. This staff needs to be enchanted by both mortal and god-magic. To enchant it with mortal magic just cast Level 1 Enchant on it.
There is a nearby furnace located in Falador and in Al-Kharid, as well as the one in Burgh de Rott.
Once you have the Rod of Ivandis, you will need a divine enchantment. Making sure you have a rope with you, take the Rod of Ivandis to the basement of the Temple on the Salve. Go to the room where there are all the statues surrounding a well. Use the staff on the well and you will lower the staff into the well with the rope to give it the divine enchantment (Picture).
Finally head back into the basement of the pub in Burgh de Rott, and speak to Veliaf. Give him the Rod of Ivandis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to complete the quest to access the bank?
A: No, but you do have to start it and complete through the repairing of the bank.
Q: How do I make the Guthix Balance Potion?
A: To make this potion add harralander, red spiders eggs, garlic (whole, not ground) and then silver dust to a vial of water. To make silver dust, use a bar of silver with the bone grinder above the Ectofuntus.
Q: Do I get to keep the Rod of Ivandis?
A: You will give your Rod of Ivandis to Veliaf to complete the quest. However, you can make another just by repeating the steps required to make it originally.
Q: How is the Rod of Ivandis used?
A: It has a special (takes about 5% of the special bar) that when used on a “Vampyre Juvenate”, it will freeze it in the air. At this point you can then use the “Guthix Balance Potion” on the trapped “Vampyre Juvenate”. This will either kill the creature or will free and leave a human. If it frees it, the human will give you a “certificate” of treasure.

If you do not have the pickaxe, tlk to Anna and she will give you one. Excavate the tunnel by clicking on the statue, after a brief cut-scene you will see a tunnel in the base of the statue.
Enter the tunnel and you are in the shortcut to the Chaos Altar. You can speak to the three members of the Dagon’hai here although only Dakh’thoulan Aegis will answer you in a manner you comprehend. Head to the end of the tunnel and enter the portal to be teleported to the Chaos Altar (Picture). You still have to navigate the area as you normally have to although you are much closer to the altar then if you had entered in the wilderness. Head down the ladder to the north-west and you will be near the chaos altar. Use the wand with the altar to infuse the wand.

Tell Zaff that Rat Burgiss sent you and he will give you a set of instructions and a Beacon Ring to call him should Surok manage to control the King, you are to summon him when the King is almost dead.
Go to Surok and arrest him, he has already taken control of the King and the King (Level-47) attacks you (Picture). When the King is about dead a message will appear in the your chatbox saying that it would be a good time to summon Zaff. When you get this message operate the ring (right-click operate) and Zaff will appear and a cut-scene will follow.
Return to Rat Burgiss to collect your Reward.
——————————————————————————–
Surok has managed to escape from Varrock Library! Follow him through the Chaos Tunnels and capture him before he can wreak further mischief on the great city of Varrock.
——————————————————————————–
Part 1:
The Hunt for SurokStep 1
Speak to Surok.
Follow him into cave.
Head into first western chamber.
Speak to dragon’hai member.
Enter portal.Surok Magis, the darkened Zamorak mage who was captured during What Lies Below quest has managed to escape! Players can find this villain to the east of Varrock, standing next to the statue of Saradomin that you tunnelled through during the quest.
Speak to Surok and he will run into the tunnels in order to escape. Follow him into the cave, and you will see him entering a portal. Run north and head into the first western chamber.
Speak to the dragon’hai member there and then enter the portal next to him (not the portal far north, which leads to the chaos altar and requires a chaos talisman).
Part 2:
The chase is on!Step 2
Follow the steps to find Surok. After going into the portal after Surok, you will arrive in a room of the Chaos Tunnels filled with ants. You will now need to run between the many chambers of the Chaos Tunnels to pursue Surok.
You will sometimes see footprints leading it to a portal if Surok has recently passed through it. This always means that he has gone that way, but to reach Surok you will have to pass through “unmarked” portals as well.
Below is a list of rooms, whats in them, and which portal you should take from there.
Giant ant workers, take northern portal.
Giant ant workers, take north-eastern portal.
Giant crypt rat, take closest western portal.
Big wolves, take most northern portal.
Cave bugs, take far west portal.
Deadly red spiders, take most northern portal.
Moss giants, take most southern portal.
Zamorak warriors, Zamorak mages and Zamorak rangers, take most southern portal.
Fire giants, take western portal.

Step 3
Kill Bork.
Bork can be killed again and again, but for less Slayer XP. You receive the same amount of charms though.Once you have reached the final room, Surok will turn to face you (Picture). He will summon Bork (level-267) and will retreat to the edge of the cavern. Bork is capable of summoning Ork Legionnaires (level-70) and can do considerable melee damage.
Note: It is suggested to turn on the Protect from Melee and pot up before fighting him. You may need to take a Prayer restore potion first as running through the caverns and the shadow spider rooms will have drained you a bit.
Good armour should protect you fairly well against the minions he summons, as most strong armours offer a high Summoning defence bonus. Surok will cast spells on you now and again from the sidelines - his attacks will probably do the most damage to you. Once you have slain Bork you will receive some charms (7 Crimson, 5 Blue, 2 Green) and 5,000 Slayer XP. Surok will teleport and escape your grasp though.
After the mini quest you can return to the last chamber daily and slay Bork again. You will receive 250 slayer experience, but the same number of charms is always guaranteed making it quite worthwhile for able players.

——————————————————————————–
Part 1:
The Wanderer & the SphinxStep 1
Find the Wanderer.
Do as she asks.
Enter the secret passage.Note: whenever you have a grey circle running around your screen, it is because you are in a dreamlike state. This means that you are reliving a situation in the past. After you have completed Step 4 of this guide you will see that a lot has happened without you knowing. Every time you enter the dream state, you will be re-living what happened before. Think of this quest as almost 2 stories. It will all make sense at the end. You will also require waterskins or other desert aid throughout the quest as the desert effect is almost always present.
To begin the quest, make sure you have all the required items, and set off towards the Shantay pass. Head southwest of the pass, towards the Bandit Camp (desert); or South-East towards Pollnivneach. Once there, make your way southeast of the Bandit Camp (desert), or southwest of Pollnivneach, until you reach a bridge (just east of the pyramid). Go south over that bridge, and you will soon come across a Wanderer, south of some gold rocks.
Speak to the Wanderer. Her cat will appear and hiss at yours, and she will ask you to put it away. Ask the wanderer what the problem with it, and she will tell you if you take it away, she’ll tell you of a secret passage.
Pick up your cat and you will talk to her again. Before she tells you where the secret passage is, you will have to give her a tinderbox and a full waterskin. Speak to her again and say you have the items, and she will take you through the secret passage. For future reference whenever you refer to your ‘Mistress’ it is the wanderer you are talking about.
Part 2:
The Tomb & BurialStep 2
Remember your jar type.
Listen to Klenter.
Enter the tomb. You will fall through, and end up being in Sophanem; you will also have a Canopic jar in your inventory. Examine it, and remember which one you had, as there are four; crocodile, bug, ape, and man.
There are four Canopic jars in all, and they are randomly given out to each person. After appearing in Sophanem, a ghost of Klenter will demand you return the burial jar that you now have in your inventory to him. Since you don’t think you stole it you will deny his accusations.
At the front of the temple where there is a picture of a cat, choose the “touch” option, and you will go in. You will then revert into some sort of dreamlike state.
Step 3
Evade the wall crusher.
Pass the trap doors.
Continue then jump over the pit.
Unlock the puzzle.During Step 3 you will encounter Mummies (level 84). Make sure you can protect yourself with either Prayer or Food.
Items needed: Anti-Poison Potion, Food.
Make your way east, and you will come across a wall crusher. Try and stick to the furthest side of the path from where the wall crusher is coming out of the wall. Failing to do so will result in the loss of 8 hitpoints. Make sure you watch the crushers movements. Passing without losing hit points, is all about common sense and predicting where the walls will be.
Next comes the trapdoors. Follow the path, zigzagging your way along. Fail, and you will be back at the start of the maze (Picture).
Continue following the maze, and you will come across more wall crushers. Pass them, and you will come to a pit in the middle of the room. Click right at the start of the pit area, and a small cinematic view will show you jumping across (Picture). If you don’t have enough energy, it will notify you that you need to rest. Failing the pit will result in you appearing just before the second wall crusher.
Once across, head west to a small chamber. Open the doorway, and a puzzle will appear. Complete the puzzle by turning the tiles over and over, until they are all up the right way (Picture).
The code can be challenging to some, and easy for others. After a while, you will begin to realize that each panel turns a certain area of panels around, and you can use that knowledge to beat it. To start, try turning the panels over from the top left corner, then across two, down two, and turn the panel, then across two down two, and turn the panel. This should get you relatively close to completing it. Also, if you are really stuck, try to continuously restart the puzzle until you find one that looks relatively easy.
Once completed, you will end up outside the temple again, with a slightly clearer head. You will be out of the hypnotic state you were in.
Step 4
Talk to the Sphinx.
Speak to the High Priest.
Navigate back through the tomb.
Take your jar and defeat it’s guardian.
Return the jar. Speak to the Sphinx, and tell him you need help. He will tell you a riddle; A husband and a wife have six sons, each son has one sister, how many people are there in the family?. The answer is 9. If you answer incorrectly, he will take your cat. Continue the conversation, and he will end up giving you a token, and tells you to talk to the new high priest.
Just west of the Sphinx, is a smaller temple, with the High Priest inside. Speak to him, and he will tell you that you must return the burial jar, and that cats act as guardians.
Make your way back to the northern side of the big temple, and open the door. You must have your kitten/cat with you. Make your way through the dungeon again, until you reach the pit. Click “jump over pit” and if successful, you will find yourself at the entrance to the western chamber. At this point you will find yourself back in a dream-like state. Enter the chamber.
Walk over to the Canopic jars on the floor. This is where you need to remember what jar you had before. Examine the jars that are on the floor, until you’ve found the one you had before.
Note: You will now be attacked by a medium leveled monster. Use your protection prayers to defeat them.
Bug Stomach - Click “take Canopic jar” and Scabaras (Level-75) will appear. He will use Melee attacks. Once you have defeated him, take the Canopic jar.
Crocodile lungs - Click “take Canopic jar” and Crondis (Level-75) will appear (Picture). He will use Magic attacks. Once you have defeated him, take the Canopic jar.
Man liver - Click “take Canopic jar” and Het (Level-81) will appear. He will use melee attacks. Once you have defeated him, take the Canopic jar.
Ape intestines - Click “take Canopic jar” and Apmeken (Level-75) will appear (Picture). He will use magic attacks. Once you have defeated him, take the Canopic jar.
Once you’ve killed the creature that appeared for you, take the Canopic jar, and head back to the pit. After jumping over, you will realize that you really have stolen it, and that you should return it. Make your way back to the west chamber over the pit, and you have to redo the door code. Once it’s completed, go to where the empty space is between the Canopic jars, and drop the one you have in your inventory.
Part 3:
The CeremonyStep 5
Leave the chamber.
Talk to the high priest.
Prepare the holy symbol.Exit the chamber, jump over the pit, and follow the path back to the entrance of the cave, and climb the ladder. Head west to the head priest again, and tell him that you will help the Embalmer and carpenter prepare for the final prayers of the old high priest.
Go south; straight out of the high priests temple, to the Embalmer. Speak to him, and he will tell you that he needs some linen, salt, and some sap. If you forgot to bring the salt then you can get some from a small pool of water that is north of Sophanem. Use a bucket on the pool to obtain salt water and then place that in the suntrap that is located in the southeastern part of town. At this point, if you bank, bring a willow log back as well.
Once you’re back in Sophanem, speak to Raetul, the linen worker, in the eastern side of town. Tell him the Embalmer needs some linen to perform a ceremony, and he will quickly give you some linen in exchange for 30gp.
Just south of the linen worker, is the Carpenter. Tell him that the high priest requires a new holy symbol, to perform the ritual. The carpenter requires a willow log in order to craft the holy symbol. Speak to him again, and you will give him your willow log.
Head back to the Embalmer in the southwest side of town, with your linen, bucket of sap, and bag of salt. He will take them, and inform the high priest. Head north of the Embalmer, and tell the high priest that you’re just waiting on the carpenter to make the holy symbol. Make your way east back to the carpenter, and he will have the holy symbol ready. He will say the high priest has already started the ceremony.
Step 6
Go back to the tomb.
Hide the symbol.
Warn the high priest of the Devourer.
Defeat the Possessed Priest.
Talk to the high priest. The high priest has gone inside the pyramid. So, make your way back through the pyramid’s traps, and this time, go east after the pit.
Once you’ve crossed the pit, you will enter the dreamlike state again. You will tell yourself that you must hide the symbol so that the mistress can enter the pyramid whenever she pleases. You will be at the western chamber door. Head east, and walk through the eastern chamber’s door. Use the unholy symbol that appeared in your inventory, on one of the Sarcophagus’ located all around the wall.
Once you’ve put the unholy symbol in the Sarcophagus, leave the chamber, and you will find yourself by the pit again. You will see yourself say that you must warn the High priest about The Devourer.
Head back to the entrance to the eastern chamber, and open the door. The high priest will be performing the ceremony as you enter (Picture). You will tell the high priest that The Devourer is coming! At that moment, the person you initially knew as “The Wanderer” will appear. However, the Wanderer was actually The Devourer and will command you to kill the priests. You however, will tell her that you cannot be controlled by her mind games. The Wanderer will then call a creature to kill you and the priests; the high priest asks you to protect them, so they may finish the ceremony (Picture).
After the conversation has ended, you will have to click to continue into the fight. A Possessed Priest (Level-91) will appear, and attack you with fire strike (Picture). Put on protect from mage if you need it, and kill it. It will drop a four dose potion, and bones.
Speak to the high priest again, and he will tell you The Devourer has been defeated. For the final time you will enter the dreamlike state. You will appear at the entrance to the tomb, and Icthlarin will appear. Icthlarin will tell Klenter’s spirit to protect you. You will then leave the temple. This concludes the last dreamlike state you will go through. If you piece them all together, you will realize you were working for the mistress by trying to steal the Canopic jar and allowing her access to the temple. You will find yourself back in the eastern chamber again after your flashback.
Get out of the temple and speak to the high priest, and he will thank you. If you are still confused about the quest you can now talk to your cat with the amulet you are given.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I died (or teleported) out of the town and can’t get back in? How do I get in?
A: When you talked to the Wanderer she mentioned that she found an entrance near his rocks. Enter the rocks and you will appear within the city walls.
Q: I’ve lost my canopic jar, how can I regain it?
A: Talk to the Wanderer again, or retrieve it once more.
Q: I’ve lost my canopic jar and the Wanderer is not near her tent!
A: This is a very commonly made mistake. All you have to do is try and remember which jar you had for later in the quest. If you have lost it, and the wanderer is gone, you no longer need it.
Q: I’ve lost my catspeak amulet, how can I get it back?
A: Talk to sphinx in Sophanem with your cat out.

The Wizard Grayzag has summoned hundreds of little imps. They have stolen a lot of things belonging to the Wizard Mizgog including his magic beads.
——————————————————————————–
Part 1:
A Wiley Wizard and Imps
Step 1
Ask Wizard Mizgog for a quest.
Collect a red, black, yellow and white bead.
Give them to Wizard Mizgog.
Go to the third floor of the Wizards’ tower, which can be found south of Draynor Village. Politely ask Wizard Mizgog for a quest (Picture). He will tell you that that Wizard Grayzag’s imps have stolen four magical beads that he needs you to get back for him.
Now you need to collect some beads. You can either buy these from players - which may take a while - or you can try killing imps, which will still take a while to do. You will need to retrieve a red, black, yellow and white bead from the imps drops.
The image below shows two prime locations (south of Falador and around Karamja Volcano). Imps can also be found around Varrock and Lumbridge.
When you have retrieved them all from the imps, return to Wizard Mizgog and he will reward you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are beads tradable?
A: Yes, they are.
Q: Can I get the Amulet of accuracy back when I lose it?
A: The only way to get it back is to buy it from another player. Wizard Mizgog will not replace it.
Runescape is a fun multiplayer RPG that people from around the world are eligible to play. There are quests to do, monsters to kill, and rare items to get.
Steps
- Get to know the map, this will make Runescape less complicated.
- Make friends, at some point you will get bored and want someone to talk to.
- Make some gold! Here is a quick guide to making money: (Please note that the January 2, 2008 update killed off almost every way to use these methods; the 3k+ Trade Limit)
-
-
- Members: Buy Water-filled vials. You want to buy them from the Ardougne general store. The go onto the forums and sell them for 250 gold each no more, no less
- Members: Once you have around 1 million gold, you may want to start merchanting (What people in RuneScape call the practice of buying low and selling high) Rune or Dragon Items, or perhaps something else you believe can be made into profit. It is best to sell items in World 2 for Members.
- Free-Players: Kill cows for cow hides, bank and continue until you have 100 (about 3.3 runs). Sell this 100 for 10k at Al-Kharid bank.
- Free-Players: Kill chickens and sell the feathers 4-7 each, or buy feathers 3 each and then sell them 4-7 each.
- Free-players and members: Air Run See the Air Running guide on WikiHow here. Once you have 60k from that, buy bronze arrows from the Varrock Archery Shop, they cost 6gp each and sell for 20gp each. Now you have 200k! =)
-
-
- Once you have a good amount of money, buy cooked lobsters for 200-220 gp. Remember to be firm with your price when re-selling for 240+.
- Train hard, here’s another quick guide:
-
-
- Members: The only Rock Crabs in the game are in the Members’ Area of Relleka. They look like boulders but when you approach them they pop up and attack your player. They have 50 hp, they give 200 experience points per kill, and they’re only level 13!
- Free players: When you start, goblins are best. When you’re about level 10, start experimenting up to level 20.
- Level 20- Guards at Falador or Varrok until level 30.
- Level 30- Hill giants. You will need to buy a Brass Key in order to get into the shack just west/north west of Varrock, or you can walk to Edgeville and go down the ladder, although there are stronger monsters on the way, there is a brass key near the ladder out so you can get in quicker later.
- Level 40- Anything (Except Lesser Demons, and Elvarg), but you may want to try start your luck killing other players in the Wilderness area (Commonly called PKing, for Player-Killing) attack white knights at fally as well
- Level 60- If you haven’t already, try your luck killing the Elvarg, the Dragon from the Dragon Slayer quest. Of course, be sure to bring food and armor, and the Anti-dragon Shield!bring str pots as well
- Level 70+ - Kill Lesser Demons, Rock Crabs, Ogres, and any other monster that you feel are safe to kill. Generally, try not too go too overboard and fight things over 60 levels higher than you.
-
-
- Get to know your surroundings.
- Get your character to higher levels through training - but remember to have fun!
- If you have a question about an item, or how to get something, ask someone, however, if they would not like to talk, do not annoy them. This can give you a bad reputation! Just check the RuneScape Official Forums, or ask a more experienced friend.
- Don’t think you can get high level stuff that other people have acquired; you have to work for it.
- Get your other things up besides combat. Don’t focus on just one skill.
- Play fair, don’t break the rules, and don’t act in an offensive or insulting manner with other players.
- If you are having trouble finding information from your friends, the Knowledge Base, or the Forums, visit a fansite! Try to stick to more well known sites, however, as some RuneScape Fansites do contain keyloggers or other malware.
Tips
- To get the most out of Runescape, you might want to consider becoming a member.
- Also don’t get addicted to RuneScape. Remember that you have a whole life to live, and a video game won’t stop your real-life problems.
- Read the rules! You might be offended if someone calls you a Noob, but you cannot report someone for it.
- Make sure to take a 10 minute break for every hour that you play. Also if you want to be healthier, play 10 minutes less each time that you get one (set a timer for yourself). In the extra time that you have work out, or focus on school work!
- Do something else to take your mind off from the game such as playing another game, play outside, socialize with friends and/or family, etc.
Playing Runescape can be addicting and fun at the same time. Killing dragons, creating your own house, and casting magical spells at other people are some of the things that you can do in the game. You can also become a member at any time this will speed up the process of training. I play runescape 11 hours a day. Sometimes I even skip school just to play runescape since my mom is at work.
- Go to the website’s page, Runescape.com. Click on “Create a Free Account”, if you are new. Please read the create a Runescape username article for ideas of usernames that you can use in the game.
- Avoid becoming a paying member unless you are sure that it is going to be worth it, or if you are working on a secondary account for a specific skill. It takes time in gaining levels, so it’s advisable to wait until your character has good stats.
- Click on the “Play Runescape (Existing User) button after you have created your account. You will have the choice of high or low detail, and you may also select the Java type you want for the game.
- Choose a world that you want to play in. The screen is color coded by members and free worlds, tells you how many players are in each world, what activity is currently ongoing in that specific world, and what country the world server is in.
- Avoid Scams in Runescape, know what scams are, and avoid them as much as possible. If you don’t know the price of an object during a trade or you are skeptical, use the Grand Exchange, or just look at the bottom of the trade screen, which will tell you how much an item is worth.
- Find the Right Runescape Combat Type for you with the skills that are provided in the game.
- Understand that it could take a few months to get a decent level in a skill, depending on how much you play.
- Remember set your recovery questions, preferably before you start playing the first time. It’s more security towards your account, plus Runescape NPCs wont have to hunt you down to remind you.
- Try to complete many quests. Some of them give you additional skill points, extra rewards, or special access to areas and shortcuts. Try to do quests around your level.
- If you are called a bad name, or something else, report the person and put them in your ignore list, they might add you and annoy you.
- Play RuneScape for as long as you can. But remember,do not play to much, otherwise you might get addicted, and that would be very bad.
Warnings
- People may not be nice around beginners or low level characters.
- Do not beg, swear, scam, or hack Runescape in anyway. You could be muted or banned.
- Please read the rules thoroughly before reporting anyone. False reporting can fall under misuse of customer support and can get you banned.
- Don’t buy other accounts from Runescape players or other websites, they still own the account and just get the money.
- Do not share accounts with other people, including friends, family members or people you know.
- Although Runescape is a good game, it can become addicting and can cause social problems if played to excessive lengths.
- Sometimes other players trick you and say that you can have free membership but this is fake. Don’t trust them
A mining pure is a character that has reached level 99 in mining skills, and has not worked on any other skills. The following article can also be used by anyone looking to increase their mining skills, not just to create a pure.
- Learn the basics about mining and powermining.
- To reach level 15:
- Obtain the bronze pickaxe.
- Go to the mine below Varrock.
- Mine the copper and tin from the rocks.
- Once you have a full inventory of copper and tin, either go to the Varrock east bank and store the ores, or drop them from your inventory (powermining).
- Repeat this until you reach level 15.
- Go to the bank and turn all of the copper and tin ore you have collected into bank notes.
- Walk to the Grand Exchange, which is just above Varrock West bank, and sell your copper and tin.
- To reach level 31:
- Buy a steel pickaxe from Nurmof’s pickax store in the Dwarven Mines north of Falador.
- Walk to the mine below Varrock and mine the iron rocks.
- When you have a full inventory of iron ore, walk back to the Varrock East bank and store your iron there.
- Repeat until you reach level 31.
- Walk to the bank and turn all your iron ore into bank notes.
- Walk to the Grand Exchange and sell your iron ore.
- To reach level 41:
- Go to Nurmof’s shop and buy an Adamant pickaxe. If you have enough money, you can also buy a Rune Pickaxe to save you the trip later.
- Teleport to Lumbridge with the home teleport spell and go South until you reach a mine with only copper and tin ore. Then walk west until you see another mine with some coal rocks.
- Mine coal.
- When you have a full inventory of coal, go to Draynor Bank and drop the coal off there.
- Repeat until you reach level 41.
- Go to a bank and note your coal, then go to the Grand Exchange and sell them.
- To reach level 60:
- Go to a bank and get your Rune pickaxe. If you do not have one, go to Nurmof’s and buy one.
- Mine coal or mithril ore. Mithril is worth more, but it takes a longer time to mine.
- Mine and bank until you reach a mining level of 60.
- Enter the Mining Guild. Congratulations on making it this far!
- Continue mining coal or mithril until you reach a mining level of 70. Now you can mine adamantite ore, which is very valuable!
- Mine coal, mithril, or adamantite until your mining level reaches 85. Now you can mine the greatest ore of all: Rune!
[edit] Tips
- Be very patient. You’re not going to get 99 mining in a day, it takes months.
- After you get level 99 mining, get a mining skillcape. You can show off this skill and do the mining emote.
- You can sometimes purchase pickaxes from the Grand Exchange cheaper than from Nurmof.
- Determine how much money you will need. Generally, having 700K (700,000GP - 1K = 1,000 gold pieces) or more would be ideal. There are so many items and new armour, that not having enough money can be a big setback. And instead of spending your time at Castle Wars, more often than not, you find yourself finding ways to make money to afford new weapons and items.
- Figure out your combat level. Level 70 or higher would be ideal for a new member, but you can still have a great time at any combat level.
- Consider whether you have enough experience. If you have played for at least 2 years for at least twice a week, you should be fine. Just know that if you don’t know the Non-Member worlds and maps, getting to know the member areas, weapons, and game is going to be much different, and add to the challenge.
- Send $5-8 to Jagex Limited by the payment method of your choice (This will vary from country to country). This can be Pay-By-Phone, Mail, Credit Card, and more. Different methods cost more, depending on fees charged to Jagex.
- Be prepared to pay money for your new skills and items. Many Member items tend to cost more money than Non-Member ones. An upside you will find is that some items, armor sets and weapons will actually cost less in Member Worlds than they did in Non-Member Worlds.
- Get acquainted with the member world. Do quests, make friends with players that have more experience than you, and explore a little. Indulge in your curiosity, and do a few new quests. Quests revolving around Member skills and areas can be a great way to get to know the game around you.
[edit] Tips
- Note that for some weapons/ armour you will need to do quests before you can use them. Most dragon weapons are like this.
[edit] Warnings
- If you become member as a low level, be careful where you tread. Some of the monsters in new wilderness areas, dungeons, and cities are very high leveled and dangerous to accounts with a low combat level.
- Watch out for people who will try to trick you if you don’t know how much one member item is and they say a price its not always right so don’t buy it till you find out.
- If you are doing the Pay-By-Cash method, the mail may sometimes get lost or stolen.
[edit] Things You’ll Need
- $5-8 (U.S. currency) (depending on the method you pay, it may cost more)
- The materials needed for your payment option (Credit Card, envelope and stamp, etc.)
- A decent amount of gold pieces
- A RuneScape account
- Internet
- Computer (because although a PSP has Internet, you can’t play Runescape)
